Just tried this cute place today(1st time )for takeout lunch & it was delicious! Lasagna almost as good as mine, served hot with that amazing roll. Decent salad but outstanding lasagna! We're very close by, so will def be discovering the rest of the menu!

I used to work from an office nearby, so Johnnys was a regular visit for my department. We were in the area for an appointment and my wife I decided to stop. A bit after the lunch hour, we were seated right away.We were brought menus and water and had already looked at the menu online, so we ordered right away. My wife picked the Chicken Parmesan and I chose the Lasagna. And we both had side salads. We were brought delicious rolls for olive oil dip.Quickly our salads came, fresh, chilled and tasty. Before we finished our salads, our meals came, piping hot. My wife said her Chicken Parmesan was perfect. Lasagna an was my old favorite and it did not disappoint. We were both so pleased with our meals that we did not share our food, as we normally do.Excellent service, excellent food, great ambiance. If you haven’t tried Johnnys - what are you waiting for? Oh, and they give a veteran discount too!

Service was pleasant and timely. Got off to a bad start with "Diet" Coke that tasted like regular. Switched to water. House Italian salad dressing was watery and had no flavor. My husband had the Puttanesca with chicken. Sauce was watery and bland. I had veal Parm: veal was thin and dry, sauce and cheese on it barely warmed. Sauce on pasta was sweet and very heavily seasoned with garlic. I returned my dish, my husband ate about half of his. We were very disappointed, especially since the restaurant was obviously very popular.

My sister had placed an online order for pick up, I was out and came to the to-go counter to grab it for her, I notified the guy behind the cashier counter that I might be early I was not sure when she put it in the order, as the cashier is inquiring about the order to the kitchen the guy making the pizzas in the kitchen was very rude! Going back and forth with the to-go cashier while simultaneously talking about me for being too early to pick up the pizza.Talking about a customer in an open kitchen where you can be seen and HEARD , is very unprofessional. They gave me a cheese pizza that was already ready since I was “too early” which was fine but he could’ve easily told me to just wait a bit which I was willing to do since I already said I might be early, since I wasn’t given a pick up time by my sister. The entire exchange was just rude to me and I won’t return. If you’re a mom and pop business in this Economy you should be happy people from the neighborhood are even patronizing your business regularly.

Great food and service. We all loved our dishes. The pizza was perfect NY style and the eggplant and chicken parm and Alfredo dishes were all good. Even the chicken pastini soup was delicious. Kids loved the fish tank too.

On a whim looking for housing for my daughter we stooped in. The food was delicious, we got chicken Alfredo, and my husband got spaghetti meatballs. The price was good for portion sizes.

Waited 25 minutes to be sat. Friday at prime time, so to be expected. Waitress was pleasant and brought bread. Order taken relatively promptly. Water and drink arrived in reasonable time. Waited about 40 minutes - she ordered a salad and a calzone for me. Longer wait than desirable, but not completely unacceptable considering the time and day. Waitress comes to the table to explain that the calzone was delivered to the wrong table and had been cut open but "not touched" if I would be ok with it. Not really...Ok, but it's going to be "awhile" to replace it. Been over an hour now and looking like it will be another 30 minutes or more. Flagged the waitress after a brief moment and asked her to cancel the order and bring the check for the one draft .She returned shortly to say the bill was taken care of (about $4) and apologized again. Not her fault but geez. Left her a couple $ for her efforts. Manager approached us as we were leaving to apologize for the mix-up. Again, things happen, especially on a busy day and he did comp my beer.Just disappointed to waste over an hour and leave hungry.The food is usually good and the prices are reasonable, hence the busy time but offering a plate that has been on another table and cut into / handled by an unknown person is not really acceptable.Could absolutely have been handled better . Disappointing experience.

I need to update my review, As of late the portions have gotten smaller and smaller and the service seems to be slipping also, that’s a shame because I hate to have to write a review like this. They do not except credit cards over the phone! I hope I can change this review in the future, but I won’t be giving them many more chances, ???
