I have always enjoyed visiting this great tea spot in Clearwater, even now that I live further away! Excellent choice for a nice afternoon tea, generous portions, and extremely lengthy tea menu to choose from. I am also allergic to gluten and they have an excellent option for that with gluten free bread and “tea snacks”. Every time I go they have updated the interior with new cute details! There are spots to do some really fun photos! My mother and MIl loved the experience as well!

Chase, our server was wonderful. She was very gracious and efficient. We were a little disappointed that the cupcake for my mom‘s 91st birthday wasn't delivered until we were leaving the teahouse. It seemed a bit of an afterthought and the icing slid off the cupcake almost immediately; it was also a nice idea to give my mom a gift card for a future booking, but again, it was literally handed to us as we were walking out the door. The ambience was absolutely wonderful. Very cute and festive. The tea and food, however, were just mediocre. We have also gone to high tea at William Dean chocolates and, although we enjoyed the experience at Joseph's teahouse, William Dean's quality was far superior. But, again, this place has “heart“ and it is nice to have a tea house in Palm Harbor/Clearwater.

This establishment was welcoming from start to finish. Both the exterior and interior esthetics was beautifully decorated to set an ambiance which executed an exceptional Afternoon Tea experience. Sarah was knowledgeable of the items and her service was perfect to a "Tea". She was willing to snap a couple of pictures for us and later offered to take additional pictures.

This was a wonderful experience ! We will definitely be coming back here again. The tea was amazing (we had the white blueberry) and the sandwiches were so yummy ! The amount of options available made the experience so much better along with the service and the whole vibe it was very very nice. We did an a la carte dine in to start and get a feel of the place and that was wonderful so next time we will definitely be upgrading to one of the experiences. It's fairly priced given everything that you get along with the opportunity to take pictures and dress up. Highly recommend if you are looking for something nice in town and want to have a special outing. Almost forgot to mention the desserts were delicious and the wine was top tier.

Such a cute place the owner really put alot into her decor and her branding. As well as having the best tea around. It is incredible how good the tea is and how its not your store bought brands. It is way better than that. I am so excited for my bridal shower here. Thank you for having such a cute, yummy place. My fiance loved the tea!

I've had afternoon tea in a lot of places over the years. This one was "ok", but not particularly great. First, the tea was weak...we had 3 different pots and they all were very weak. Second, the sandwiches were "Ok". The choices were a bit limited. The sweets were also "ok"; the "traditional" scone was good; the "Americanized" scones were so-so....far too sweet, far too soft and cakey. The "Devonshire cream" (aka "Clotted cream" was mediocre...too thin; it should have been closer to a butter in texture than it was. And they served us ONE little bowl of it for 3 scones??? And likewise one little bowl of preserves. Yes, they brought more cream upon request...but, really, the amount they brought was appropriate for ONE scone!!! All of the above, for $54+ tip per person made for a $170 tea that was at best "OK".

We heard good things so a small group of us met up and tried it for ourselves. Tea- great, GF sandwiches- great, scones- the GF berry I got tasted like play doh might have been a cousin. The others liked their scones. I ordered a GF cupcake, it wasn't served (nor charged). It takes up three "storefront" locations in a strip mall, so it's deceptively larger than you'd think pulling up. The decor ranges from charming to cheap & tacky; like someone used Big Lots and the Dollar Tree to decorate a business. The Tiffany Blue is a classic, high brand color that juxtaposed plastic flowers and little dangly cheap things from the ceiling. Somebody got a little too carried away at Dollar Tree for sure. The staff on our shift were courteous and helpful, they didn't have many staff, and the staff were definitely busy with multiple tables each. The tea cups and tea pots are unique and charming. The tea is quality tea in fabric steeping bags. The prize for sure is the tea, the variety, how well it's categorized and laid out on the menu. The tea is the winner of the day at Joseph's tea room. Look, this is a really good place to have a pot of tea and focus your attention on your group, party, and conversation and not the decor. If your mission is to enjoy one another's company, or pass a few hours with good refreshments, this is a good place to do that.

Our experience was fantastic! The vegan and gluten free options were delicious, and our server was very knowledgeable about the available options to accommodate dietary restrictions/prefrences. The ambiance was perfect for afternoon tea. My only recommendation is to have traditional sugar cubes instead of sugar packets, for the tea. It would elevate the experience so much more. Thank you!! We will definitely be back!
