They both loved the afternoon tea experience and your great tea selection not to mention the great atmosphere with the decor and tea service and pots. Coming back soon.

Loved the decor and the idea of an afternoon tea experience. Felt fun and fancy with the cute teacups and flower spoons. Great tea selection. Unfortunately the vegan option was an upcharge and left a lot to be desired at the Dunedin location. I could easily make hummus and veggie and pbj sandwiches myself at home. Scone was dense and didn’t taste fresh. Expected a bit more for the price tag. Desserts were yummy though.

My husband got me the afternoon tea experience as a Christmas gift.
The atmosphere is very charming and cute! It was very nicely decorated, and I LOVED that every table has different tea sets!
The tea was good, my husband wanted ice tea, and we did get one glass of ice. The server said she would bring more ice and never did. She was distracted. Oh, well.
The food was good! I had egg salad on croissants and the cucumber with cream cheese on white. My husband was supposed to get Ham salad, but got egg instead... servers was distracted... but oh well, we are not picky. They were both very fresh and delish. The scones were good as well. They had a very cakey like texture, but flavors were great! Loved the cinnamon scone! The desserts were nothing special, and we didn't finish any of them. Honestly, I could have gone without them.
Service wasn't great, staff was distracted tending to the young child in the shop.... and that brings up my last point. It is VERY clear that children under 5 are NOT allowed (posted on the website and front entrance) If this is a policy and customer cannot bring young children in, I'm not sure why the owner would feel it was okay to have their own young children there. People pay quite a bit for this experience and don't expect to have young children be a distraction, yet they were. Said young child was crawling on the floor, under tables, and pulling down decorations.
Overall, for 39 per person, would have expected better service. It's not somewhere I would go back.

We had a fabulous time creating our wreaths. Such fun! Tea time was, as always, delicious! We love Joseph's Tea Room.
Went here for my mother’s birthday, this place truly exceeded our expectations, the place was very clean and beautiful, all the employees and owners were soo kind and friendly, the atmosphere and decor was elegant, calming and inviting. They had vegan versions of almost everything and they had a very large selection of tea. The tea sets were soo adorable that my boyfriend purchased a tea pot from here and is now obsessed with it. My mom has always wanted to go to a tea party for a long time, she was so happy and impressed with our time here that it brought her happy tears definitely recommend for a classy tea party experience!

Overall, we had a wonderful experience here on the last day of our vacation for my birthday treat. Some notes…
1. There was no authentic clotted cream.
2. Food came out WAY before the tea. Both were delicious, but for proper afternoon tea, you should be able to sip and enjoy the tea for a bit before the food comes out.
3. The menu states no children under 5 are allowed, but the owner’s baby was running around the establishment the entire time we were there. I love babies and had no issue with this, but feels highly hypocritical. Children under 5 love having tea parties, and I can’t imagine an older child being more disruptive to customers than her actual child running and squealing through the area where customers were.
4. Additionally, apparently this baby is employee of the month at the establishment as well. I can imagine that doesn’t feel fair to her young employees, either, who did an excellent job waiting on and serving us.
5. Finally, the large framed photo from the owner’s wedding felt a bit odd and out of place as well.

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ©️Zeta Upsilon Omega chapter held our GenNext Tea there last Spring and we enjoyed the tea, champagne, scones and sandwiches. Great atmosphere, pleasant servers and the food was amazing. We will be back 💕💚
