We went for Sunday brunch. They were out of several things on the limited menu. There was only two other people in the restaurant and service was very minimal/not attentive. We ordered food to go and unfortunately several items were missing. We didn't see the value for the food. It was like a regular hotel type restaurant not a bistro as advertised.

Service was great — truly the highlight of the meal. As for the food, well... if dryness were a culinary art, this place would have three Michelin stars. I love a good roasted Brussels sprout, but theirs tasted like they'd been left in the oven since last Tuesday. I ordered the short ribs hoping for tender, fall-off-the-bone goodness. Instead, I got meat that felt like it had trust issues with moisture. My friend ordered the honey chicken, which sounded promising, but it too was dry — like, “should've brought chapstick” dry. The only saving grace was the pan jus it came with, which I shamelessly borrowed like a broke student asking for WiFi, just to help get through my short ribs. Would I come back? Maybe... if I need an excuse to order five drinks, but probably not.

I found this place near my hotel on Google and it had great reviews and they didn’t lie! I had the champagne grouper which was phenomenal and a wonderful glass of Chardonnay to accompany. The service was also perfect. JT was the perfect amount of attentiveness and had great recommendations. I sat outside on a gorgeous 70 degree evening on the patio overlooking the water, too. The fried deviled eggs also looked delicious. Next time!

Don't miss the ciopinno. Don't order the mussels -- they no longer serve mussels but they have kept them on the menu. Don't expect mussels in your ciopinno either. It was so nice to be in a restaurant where we could have a quiet conversation.
