Kobé Japanese Steakhouse - Clearwater

Great food! Great preparation and entertainment by Danny, our chef, and it was for our daughter's 12th bday dinner with family! We look forward to coming back!

As always, food was excellent, chef was engaging and servers were good, although a bit slow with drink refills. However, seating is too close at 10 per table, should be 8. I felt i had to keep my elbows tucked into my body to eat.

LOVE KOBE AND LOVE TAKING FRIENDS THERE. ESPECIALLY GREAT WHEN SERVED BY CHRISTIAN AND HAVING JEREMIAH AS THE CHEF. GREAT FOOD AND GREAT FUN!

This is one of our favorite places. Was just there week before. Big difference is there was way less food all around? Even the salad. That was the biggest disappointment

We love Kobe's and usually have good experience with the food and staff. The portions have gotten much smaller over the last few months and the prices have increased! My family usually loves Kobe because they know they will have enough left overs for the next day. This is not the case anymore. We all still had leftovers but the portion of rice and veggies were so small, didn't even cover half the plate before we ate! In the past the food would have to be piled all over the plate to fit. Not sure if they are new owners, but the menu has changed and they no longer include an automatic 20% gratuity.

It had been awhile since we were at Kobe's. The chef was very entertaining and our server was absolutely the best. Food is awesome and there is plenty to take home. It was our anniversary and they presented us with cupcakes.

We had a wonderful experience and delicious food. Everything was very clean and well run. The kids enjoyed the entertainment and the koi fish. We will defintely go back!

We love going to Kobe to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. We went last night to celebrate my daughter‘s 27th birthday and we had a party of nine. Our server Shue was fantastic. He kept our drinks filled and very attentive. I do not recall the chef's name, but the food was OK. Vegetables were kind of burnt and some chefs have better interactive personalities.

We were a party of six and we were gathered at a table for 10, so several strangers were seated with us. By sheer fate, one solo diner turned out to be someone we had met during a very somber experience of being at the bedside of our a loved one who was dying.

Always a fan of Kobe....go on special occasions. The negative is you're smooshed in a table....it would be nice to have some elbow room to eat and enjoy

Me and my friend absolutely LOVED our stay! She was positively beaming in joy at everything! She LOVED the food! It was her first time going so I'm happy to have made her night!

Portions seemed smaller than usual, especially for the kids. I had no idea the service charge was removed from the bills and ended up not topping because I assumed it was included as it always had been. I didn't have cash to leave and the server didn't tell me about the auto gratuity being removed until after my card was processed.

The best experience I’ve had a teppanyaki restaurant! Peipei and Tyler were amazing and the food was delicious.
