Kobé Japanese Steakhouse - Clearwater

We were a large party of 12 which can be challenging for the wait staff but both Ducky and our chef Danny were fantastic!! Will ask for them again!

Our server Mike was friendly, funny, and kept our drinks filled. Our chef Micheal was somewhat disapointing in comparison to other dining experiences at this restaurant location. The food was cooked to order but the show part of the dining experience was subpar.

I'll begin by saying we've dined at this Kobe location many times throughout the years as a birthday tradition, and this is the first time we've encountered any issues. We were sat immediately upon arrival which was great. We noticed it was warmer than usual, maybe due to being in a side room with little air flow. Nonetheless, after what seemed a longer than normal delay for the chef to arrive, he began cooking, and proceeded to do a "fire presentation" 3 times throughout his cooking, which normally is done once. This of course caused more unwanted heat in the room, and we were sweating at that point. To add to the frustration, we had ordered a beverage from our server who forgot, so after 15 mins of waiting asked the assistant server who obliged. The filet was tender, yet had no seasoning. The rice and noodles weren't as tasty as normal, so overall, we were a bit disappointed by our experience. Even with the birthday discount, I felt it was overpriced, so I will likely spend my money elsewhere in the future.

Chef Danny was the best! I always have great service and food, but Danny took it to the next level.

Great friendly service, ambience and exceptional food. Price is a little steep so going more than I would like.

Our reservation was for 7:30, but we were not seated until closer to 8. When we finally sat down, it took about 10 minutes before our server even came to get our drink order. The food is always great here, and the chefs do a great job of putting on a show, but the wait time this time definitely was a bit frustrating.

Fabulous experience! Can't wait to return! We were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary and it was our first time!

First off the service was very good. The chef cooking the food was entertaining. The food was also very good.

Chef wasn't too entertaining and it took so long to get our steak cooked everything else was cold on the dish. He was only cooking one thing at a time which took him forever to get everyone their dinner.

I have never experienced staff like this before . I have been to the steakhouse many times and have never encountered rude staff like this in my entire life. The waiter accuse me of signing up for birthday reward just to get the money and when I told him I didn't even know about the  birthday reward he walked away. The cook then told my 14-year-old grandson that he was gonna give him more rice because he looks like he eats a lot. How do you think my 14-year-old grandson felt when the cook said that to him. What kind of people does this place higher?  it was unbelievable and this is not the first time I've been here. I've been here several times.

Enjoyed every mouthful!! The service was great and it was amazing to see a well oiled team!!

It was for my granddaughter‘s birthday. I just wanted to say that they cook and server were wonderful!

It was our first time and Jeremiah did a great job! Made food to order and was fun! 10/10!

Kobe is a great place to have celebrate a special occasion, Birthdays etc. Tyler our chief was awesome with his jokes. Very pleasant. I would request to be at his table again. The food was so delicious and large portions. My husband who loves to eat had enough to take home for a meal next day. I have enough from my order to have it for 2 more serving. So you get your money worth of food and the reason I mention this due that for us it was a bit pricey but worth it. We both had the Land n Sea. Very family orientated, many families with children. The only thing I would have to say, we are elbow to elbow around the table. We had fun for my husband's birthday and he had never been there. He enjoyed too.
