Kohr's Family Frozen Custard and Ice Cream, Inc.

$16 for 2, 1 scoop cones and the lady working was extremely rude. She didn't greet us when we walked in and she looked at us as if we ruined her day. I will not come here again.

Just stopped on Wednesday June 25th, There were three young folks working but it appeared that two of them wanted to do nothing… we walked out the door and young dark haired girl started yelling at the young men working there… And lastly not sure why a week ago the regular was 11 dollars and tonight it was 8…. Hopefully the workers can be a little more professional around customers next time!!!!

Cute place, small and limited selection. I think for the amount of ice cream you get, it is really over priced. Cold Stone is a good name and higher priced ice cream firm and they certainly beat this outlets quality and pricing. It is not a busy place so clearly their prices chase folks off. They make their own waffle cones but need to bring their prices down and increase the selections and sales will go up for them. Ice cream is good. Parking is poor as Columbia Restaurant nearby hogs out parking with overflow valet taking way too many spaces making businesses suffer in this complex.

Fake ice cream. Not the Kohr's from the jersey shore. Don't waste your money.

This place shares its name with the famous Kohr Brothers on the Jersey shore and it certainly does not deserve to. The soft serve was downright bad. Everything from the consistency to the taste was off. Do not come here.

This place was in John's Pass Village. Poor product at a very costly price. I learned my lesson. You want good frozen custard? Find a Culver's near you!

Yummy! I had a waffle cone (it was so crunchy and fresh!) with half coconut and half coffee. The coconut tastes like fresh coconut, with pieces of coconut in the ice cream. And the coffee was rich and creamy— I love a real coffee taste in coffe ice cream. We would definitely return!

Milkshake is definitely worth the price. Within walking distance to Sand Key park and great view of Clearwater Harbor out back. Lady running the counter was very polite courteous. Highly recommend

Yeah this was a bad experience. Basically spent $9 for the woman at the counter to treat us like we were stupid and inconveniencing her when we asked which flavor she liked. Walked out of there with instant regret. Wish I spent that money at a friendly local business.

A SMALL cone (very small) of soft serve vanilla set me back over $8. And it was a peculiar taste! It was not good. Never had “not good” ice cream before. Rip off.

Super dirty place and way over priced for freezer burned ice cream. Definitely not served with a smile either.

Smells funky and tasted sour. I'm sorry. I hate to leave a review like this. Staff didn't care when I mentioned it tasted sour.**updated for owner** I had a coffee flavored ice cream. I was not offered a refund after explaining that it tasted badly.

TLDR: Unsanitary. Get soft serve, not standard ice cream. Service was bad.

I walked in, and was looking at the tubs of ice cream. In one of the tubs, I found a PAPERCLIP. this was only one tub, but this signals to me that this place does not have proper sanitary practices.

The ice cream crumbled and could not be picked up, and seemed old. It didn’t even taste good. When we got soft serve, it was fine.

When we complained about this, they didn’t offer anything like your typical customer service, they just defended themselves.

Even after this mediocrity (and even awfulness) we were charged ~10 dollars each for this ice cream we didn’t even get to enjoy.

My recommendation: Either get the store to fix their practices, or just don’t come. It’s not worth your time or money.
