This place is great, totally authentic, the steak tacos are amazing, I can’t get enough of them. They even have Mexican Coke, made with cane sugar, how about that.
I found this place 16 years ago, it was a little hole in the wall place, but once she got inside, they would hand make the tortillas, taco shells, everything. Everything is from scratch with authentic recipes.

My friend told me La Cabana del Tio had the best tacos in town. I could not agree more! Just a simple taco-but incredibly flavorful. They make their own tortillas I think. I have had the steak and chicken tacos and I can never decide which so I usually get both! This place is a classic. Service is speedy and very friendly. Cash only.
