If you are in the Tampa Bay area, and feeling for some island cuisine, this is your spot...relaxing ambiance with easy reggae music and outdoor seating. The food was great and service was wonderful.

We are from out of town and were looking for an authentic Jamaican place in the area. The lazy jerk did not disappoint! We ordered the oxtails and goat curry with rice and peas and plantains. The food was hot, fresh, delicious and authentic! The goat curry was on the spicy side but that’s ok because I love spicy! Plantains were spot on and rice also perfect. Small business owner who clearly takes pride in her cooking and great service. Would come back again any time we are in Clearwater! Thanks again and be sure to try out this great Jamaican experience!

Very clean and friendly environment. I was greeted with a smile which you don’t get at many places. Had to wait a little bit but the food was worth it and sometimes that is expected when the quality is good. I had the Oxtail , rice and peas the cabbage and it was mouth watering. Not your typical crowd that you would expect at a food hall but, there are other vendors to choose from. I will go back again with my family.

Honestly was excited for some Jamaican food as I haven’t had it forever reviews made me feel like this was the spot and my husband couldn’t wait to have some oxtails. When he got home with the and I took my first bite I was was not impressed. Rice and peas I couldn’t tell if it was over cooked or under cooked as it was crunchy and mushy at the same time. My jerk chicken was cut up into bite sized pieces which left me confused and my husbands oxtail wasn’t cooked to fall off the bone not that there was much meet to even have off the bone has there was just 5 oxtail with two having meat. The beef patties were the best thing as she cooked them fresh. I really had high hopes. #unsatisfied

It wasn't how we make jerk chicken or curry chicken rice and peas wasn't done and macaroni and cheese wasn't cooked right and added extra seasoning. Also took over an hour to spend $40 something dollars for food that wasn't satisfying smh would not recommend and the woman working by herself

After a long beach day, mi belly start talkin’—so we follow the breeze and end up at Lazy Jerk. At first we thought the GPS was drunk 'cause all we hearing is Latin music. Turns out it’s in a food hall with a full-on dance party goin’ on. Mi nearly buss a whine before finding the food!
We slide through the crowd and boom—Caribbean breeze hit us. Warm smile at the counter, reggae in the air, and the smell of real yard food. The lady behind the counter? Pure sunshine. She greet us like family and serve up that good-good like she seasoning it with blessings.
I had the curry goat with rice, cabbage, and plantains—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. My boy had the chicken bowl and gave it the silent “yo this hittin’” nod. You know the one.
Best part? The food felt clean and wholesome, like mi granny cooked it on a Sunday. The vibes? 10/10. Energy? Sweet like sugarcane. Whoever that smiling queen is—keep shining, sis. You not just serving food, you serving joy.
