I ordered a chicken cesear wrap, no cheese and light sauce, only after being told they were out of lunch meat for a turkey sandwich) and I specifically told the server I was lactose intolerant and could not have any cheese. I repeated this information twice by stating I couldn't eat cheese. Not only were there a lot of people waiting for their sandwiches ahead of me that had been waiting for 30+ minutes...my wrap came full of cheese and I was told there was nothing they could do about it. I am so disappointed by the service and the fact that I have to throw away my $16 wrap.

They are just as poorly priced as their Saint Petersburg location. They expect people to pay 17.99 (yes you saw that right compared to the menus posted) for an Italian hoagie.Mazarros has been overpriced and over-rated for ages and they need to do better. Honestly pathetic. The people leaving positive reviews are clearly shills to the name and brand and the negative reviews are far more in-line with the experience at this location and in general to the mazarros name.

2:45 Saturday afternoon March 23 Clearwater airport location Tables, counters, floor messy dirty while employees stood around chatting not what I expect from Mazzaro's

c “cfl” lane

Very good market with more items than you would expect. Can get very crowded at peak times. So many delicious items to choose from for any meal. Lots of take home and cook prepared foods, sandwiches to go and bakery items too. Beverage and deli items and shelves stocked full of canned and dry goods. Parking can be a challenge, service can be a wait and lines can be long. Prices are a little high but the food is very tasty. We ate sandwiches for lunch and took home items for a meal with friends. Interesting decor inside and on the grounds. Overall worthy visit when in the area.

After reading through the reviews, I am extra grateful for my experience. I came to Mazzaro's while waiting for my flight to leave. I ordered a High Noon and a Pepperoni flat bread. The flatbread did take a while to make, but I didn't mind because I had time to spare. The woman working behind the bar was a master at her job. She was helping 2 people at a time and didn't miss a beat! She was friendly and got my order exact. I wish I knew her name. It was March 6th in the afternoon. She was really fun to watch because it seemed like she enjoyed what she was doing. My flatbread was great! It was a perfect meal before getting on the plane.

The coffee is terrible! Gas stations make way better coffee. The flatbread was mediocre at best. Mazzaro’s on 22nd Ave is amazing and never disappoints. The airport extension is not good, two trips to this airport Mazzaro’s , my first and last.

The lady working the Bar/Cash register at 4pm on 01/19/24 at the pie airport was so unfriendly, I ordered sandwiches & fountain drinks & after paying I received no order number that’s called off when your food is ready was given no cups for the drinks. On top of that the lady after me had to wait too for her drinks & was ask by the employee what do you need in a non friendly manner as well, cause all the employee was interested in was smiling & laughing with the boys at the bar.

I very rarely leave reviews, but I had to write one after my experience this morning. I’m not surprised at all that what I saw this morning is par for the course at Mazzaro according to the reviews. Airport food is supposed to be relatively fast, this place is the opposite. Whomever is managing this location should probably get out of the service industry. Slow, rude and low quality would be the best way to describe this place. It’s a real shame as this airport is pretty great otherwise.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had starting from the cashier to the sandwich maker. The service was extremely slow due to the girls working just standing around talking and on their phones and just staring at us while we were in line.

Cashiers seem genuinely miserable, and seem to not care about their job. gave me the wrong order of coffee because they couldn’t be bothered to do it right. dirty dining room and mediocre food. never written a review but was made so nauseous by the waste of money. Go here if you want to get the wrong order and when you ask for the correct one, get b!tchy stares from the overweight staff.

I'm flying out at 06:00 out of PIE and stopped in for a bite to eat. The bagel and sausage was tasty and hot but good golly was it pricey. Do yourself a favor and eat prior to coming to the airport. There aren't any fast food restaurants open at 04:00 along the way here. The lady at the counter was nice for the little interaction we had. The cost of the sandwich cost this place 2 stars.
