This place is like Panera on steroids! The most delicious food and awesome selection! The atmosphere is adorable, you'll want to eat inside. The staff is professional and quick serving. They are always happy to help. Love, love, love Newk's!
The food was good, although the pesto chicken sandwich is a bit dry. However, Ms. Keisha at the counter was fantastic! Super friendly, sweet and accommodating, definitely the best thing about today's lunch.
Conveniently their registers are always down an hour prior to closing and they won't accept cash. They even go as far as to lock the doors atleast a half hour before their posted hours. What a shame because we like the salads and our schedules I guess is inconvenient to the staff
The bread ? at this place is the super ? star. I always get the half and half... Half sandwich and half salad. The salad was drenched in dressing which made it difficult to finish and the sandwich was a bit dry. But i did got 20 mins before closing and maybe it was an of night. This is typically a great place. This was my first time at this location. I will give it another try.
This was the second time I have visited this one. They were struggling with the service this day I think because of a big group that came in. Just had to continue to get things corrected. Love the food and will definitely give it another try. The first time I went it was great with no problems.
The food is always excellent here. The staff has no clue what is or is not available. It took 20 minutes to get some of my food and didn’t get the cake. I had to go to the guy in the kitchen and ask for it. They are completely lost/confused! Also, no air conditioning here either. They didn’t have it on the last time I was there either but now that summer’s here, it isn’t manageable. I won’t be returning.
I really enjoyed my salad and sandwich. A hint - don't get the full sandwich/soup combo unless you have a 2nd stomach. I liked that they had an extras bar to add condiments to your meal. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey.
Dietary restrictions: I'm diabetic and was able to find a meal.
Everything you order is excellent however front facing customer service at this location could be improved. Had to relay order to cashier several times since they had their AirPods in, they could not hear me. If you are stopping in for a quick lunch during the workday, manage your time accordingly since it will take them a minute.
I used to love this place and I do like the food. However I’m taking the time out to write a review to let the owner/managers know that this place has completely gone downhill as far service goes.We waited over an hour for our food on a recent visit. The restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time. It was absolutely ridiculous. I have to say that it’s sad to see what has happened to this location as it used to be such a great and busy restaurant.
Arrived around 8pm, was greeted with "we close at 9" instead of a "hello" or "can I take your order". Gentlemen who took our order clearly gave the impression he really didn't want to be there or give us any service. We ordered, got our food. They forgot our sides for both our orders. I ordered Newk's Q, which was always my favorite. Sadly disappointed this visit. Chicken was dry and severely overcooked. Little to no sauce on the sandwich (usually it's dripping and making a mess). Bread was about the only thing with any decent flavor. While we were finishing our food, dude who took our order was literally standing there behind us, waiting for us to finish and leave.

The service and food options were always hit or miss. Today…we found Kinnia. What a blessing to this location!!!! The food has always been delightful…but often we would be told no cake, no pizza, no salad…etc. Today Kinnia went in the back and cut the cake. Then she made us the pizza. She has amazing customer service skills (which post covid is rare). Thank you Kinnia!
Great timing on the food as they were very busy with softball girls they manage there crew very well the food was great
First off it was like a sauna when you walked in they had no turkey ice machine had no ice in took forever for them to come and add ice to the machine… took forever to get my food for it to not only taste dried and horrible bread was hard as rock meat on my sandwich was not even hot after waiting as long as we did for it pasta salad has no flavor not pleased what so ever
Visited the restaurant for the first time to just check it out, and it was my last visit too. Took a while to get the food, but I was in no hurry, and, they were not busy at all at 7pm. We ordered salads, which they were ok, but I was very disappointed with the size if the Shrimp Po-Boy sandwich, sadly, it was smaller than an appetizers size, for 12 bucks, I'm expecting to get at least a decent size, we were not impressed at all with the costumer service either, so to resume, I have no desire to return, there are much better places to spend 47 bucks for a small dinner for 2!
The food is still great but the service is going downhill. The last two times I went there we had problems. This past time we ordered brownies only to be told when our food came that they were out. The time before that it took 30 minutes to get one sandwich, causing the other sandwich to get cold while we waited for the first.
