Spring rolls small and had very little filling. Vegetarian stir fry was good, vegetable variety was great. Value for money is questionable, likely because of only ordering vegan options, so not the best spot for that.

It took us over an hour to get our food. We watched people come in after us, order, get their food, eat and leave before we go our food. Had to get up and go ask someone about our food because our server disappeared. Same thing with getting the check...had to go find someone to get our check.

IMPERFECT AUDIO (THE IMPERFECT PODCAST)

Made reservations for a birthday dinner. No birthday was acknowledged at all which is a little weird and the food was way over salted. The appetizer was a frozen put togethe. The scallops just tasted like salt and real fishy fish which made we question the quality. The Sushi roll was nothing special. Nothing stood out at this restaurant especially for the prices they are charging. They added a $6 charge to my old fashion for switching the bourbon to to bulliet? the only good experience was our waiter. This was disappointing to say the least we made it through half of our food and had them remove the rest. If i was in charging of this kitchen i wouldn't be able to look in the mirror.

This place was genuinely incredible. I took my girlfriend here for our 1 year anniversary because I saw it on maps and it sounded good, and we both love seafood.

I found the restaurant while I was still deciding on what hotel we were going to stay at and then just so happened to choose the Wyndham Grand (which was also amazing but that's a different story). I was very pleasantly surprised to see them hand us a discount card at check in which got us 10% off on our meal here - even better!

I booked us an outdoor table at 5 pm hoping we'd have a perfect view of the sunset. And, well, the attached pictures speak for themselves! It was really gorgeous, beautiful atmosphere and our waiter was great.

The meal started with some complimentary edamame which is always a plus. My girlfriend ordered the scallops which were so good, as well as an order of sashimi which is not my personal preference but she was visibly in heaven. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and two kamikaze rolls which were specifically recommended by our waiter (although to be honest I would've ordered it anyway - shrimp tempura and spicy lobster, it doesn't get better than that). No exaggeration, it was the best sushi roll I've ever had. If I go back, I'm just going to order three of them and call it a night.

Long story short, I was optimistic about this place but didn't really know what to expect, and it managed to exceed all expectations. Very glad I chose this for our anniversary dinner, thanks for making it so special Ocean Hai!

we have been to this restaurant 12 times always great! Saturday we went with friends and sat outside and waiter ( don't know name he never told us)was the Worst person ever no personality and looked annoyed when only one person in our group ordered a drink. then at end of night he gives us a bill with 20% tip added on (I thought the customer determined that) he was rude and answered every question with 1 word answer. we will not be back Robert

I do not recommend this restaurant. We came to Ocean Hai excited because it’s heavily advertised throughout the hotel and we chose it for our last night of vacation. I ordered the Korean Sea and Steak and both the seafood and the steak were undercooked/raw with almost no flavor or sauce. The server didn’t even ask how I wanted the steak cooked and never checked on us or asked if everything was okay, even though the plate was left almost
untouched. Poor service and disappointing food for a bill close to $100. Not worth it.

Sushi rolls were SO small–barely the width of my thumb. Very disappointed for the enormous price tag. Tasted good, but dang. A rip off for sure.

We had the pleasure of dining at Ocean Hai several times during our stay at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, including the New Year’s Eve dinner, and the experience was consistently excellent.

The New Year’s Eve dinner was particularly memorable. Each course delivered an explosion of flavor, yet everything remained in perfect balance. The menu was thoughtfully composed, with distinctive dishes that felt refined rather than overworked. Presentation was elegant and precise, and the wine selections complemented the flavors beautifully. It was clear that great care and intention went into both the menu design and its execution. Compliments to the chef and the kitchen team for such a well-crafted and enjoyable evening.

We also returned for additional dinners and breakfasts throughout our stay, all of which maintained the same high standard. The sushi stood out for its freshness and quality, and the breakfast offerings were diverse, well prepared, and consistently satisfying in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

A special thank you to Alex, who took exceptional care of us during dinner service. His knowledge of the menu and wines truly enhanced the experience. He explained each dish with clarity and shared interesting details about the wines in a natural and engaging way.

Ocean Hai offers a polished yet comfortable dining experience, combining strong cuisine with genuinely professional service. We would happily return.

My husband cannot tolerate hot and spicy but he wanted a dish that was listed as spicy. The chef prepared the steak and octopus without the spicy sauces for him. It was excellent.
