I can't put in to words how wonderful the staff had taken care of me and my fiancé all weekend. I couldn't have asked for anything more and couldn't be more happy to stay at the hotel and eat here. Everyone is so friendly and takes care of their clients so well. We will most definitely be back and will most definitely recommend this place to anyone.
We were there for the Omakase. A couple of courses were good, the rest were very good. Pretty good price for the number of courses and quality. Our chef was excellent and very friendly.
Absolutely LOVED this place! First time, dinner for my husband and I celebrating. Food was 10/10! Bryce was our server, he was great!😊
We’ve eaten here several times during our stay at the Wyndham Grand — breakfast, lunch, and dinner and everything has been fabulous! The breakfast buffet is delicious, and the staff is so friendly and kind. We also came for a sunset dinner and loved it! Enjoyed sushi, salmon, and a bottle of wine while watching the most gorgeous sunset from the outdoor seating. Highly recommend! 🌅🍣🍷

We had an amazing dinner. It was delicious and highly recommend the surf and turf. From appetizers to dessert it was delicious.
It was my husband and I ‘s 10th year anniversary. They gave us a card which was nice, but the server didn't seem like he wanted to be there. He asked if we had any food allergy. My husband said we don't eat pork. We had the calamari which tasted like it had cheap spaghetti sauce on the bottom. They ended up giving us complementary potstickers because the oysters were taking so long. (they were cold ) The Rockefeller oyster turned out to have pork in it! We asked the server and he kept saying he didn't think so... I asked him to go ask the chef to make sure, and then he finally apologized and said it did. Very disappointing since we already told him we don't eat pork. We ordered two sushi rolls that didn't taste fresh. overall an unsatisfying experience with quality and service. Needless to say, we left in a hurry disappointed.
Really nice place next to the beach. Sushi and hot sake was overall good. Tuna could have been better. Service is friendly and 5 stars.

Our server Alex was fantastic. The meal was one of the best we’ve ever had. The salmon especially was definitely the best we’ve ever had. I had a birthday surprise dessert and it was excellent! The atmosphere was great and the view of the water and sunset were great.

Celebrated an early birthday at Ocean Hai over the weekend. Our party felt cared for and our served Kaia was very attentive and personable. Some of the freshest, most presentable sushi I’ve had in a while!

Ocean Hai has quickly become my go-to sushi spot in Clearwater, and for good reason. Their Japanese fusion menu strikes the perfect balance between classic favorites and creative dishes, offering a wide variety of meal choices that go far beyond sushi. Every visit feels like a unique dining experience thanks to the exceptional skill of the chefs—Chef Joey and Chef Nana—who bring a wealth of international culinary expertise and creativity to the table.
The staff is consistently attentive, making sure you feel well taken care of from start to finish. Their signature cocktails and well-curated wine list pair beautifully with the food, elevating the entire experience. Whether you’re craving fresh, high-quality sushi or something more adventurous from their fusion menu, Ocean Hai never disappoints. It’s a place where artistry, flavor, and hospitality come together seamlessly.
Highly recommend it for anyone looking for top-notch sushi and an all-around outstanding dining experience in Clearwater.

The food was very good, not great. We had “traditional” Asian dishes and they were somewhat different than expected (different vegetables and spices) but still quite tasty. The prices were reasonable and commensurate with the quality and portion size. We waited a fairly long time for our main dish (I think our order was misplaced in the kitchen). To compensate, the chef sent out a free appetizer. It was pot stickers and they were delicious! My main reason for a 4 star and not 5 star rating was the noise level. The restaurant has all hard surface elements, so sound bounces around a lot. One party of 8 was extremely loud, to the point of impacting normal conversation at the other tables. Management did nothing to minimize the voices when a simple request might have resolved the disturbance. That is the managers job, not the other quests.
Local who avoids the beach due to parking and ease of access. They make it very simple with Valet. We sat outside and it was beautiful truly felt like they rolled out the red carpet for us. Shane our server was beyond wonderful and attentive and just really made the whole experience that much more magical. Price was reasonable, the food was fantastic and very nice size portions enough to even share to try all the things. Highly recommend We will definitely be returning!

We had breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was fantastic with made-to-order omelets, continental breakfast, cereals and a huge buffet. The Asian influenced dinner was done with a twist. Delightful!
