Ocean Seven at The Hiatus Hotel

Thanksgiving dinner here. Cold buffet for $65 a head. Food tasted microwaved. Bad drinks. Ran out of plates so we had to wait for 20 minutes just for a plate. Had to use dirty silverware for small boxed dessert. Mind you this meal cost over $400. Not to mention they added an 20% tip when our server never even served us. We had dirty plates in front of us for 45 minutes to an hour before anyone came to take them away. I could go on and on. Absolutely the worst experience possible. Horrible, horrible thanksgiving meal. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Could not even cook eggs correctly. Really? After 3 attempts, just gave up. Poor service as chef was mad at me… really? Great view but that’s it

Beautiful spot with an amazing view and great vibes. Drinks were a 5/5, view was a 5/5, food was 4/5 and service was 3/5 for the waiter but 5/5 for hostess and other staff. Waiter seemed short staffed and ran away so quick felt bad asking for anything. Asked for over hard eggs and they were very runny and they were for the table behind. Beyond the overwhelmed waiter and bad cook of the eggs we will definitely return .

Dining at Ocean Seven was exceptional! Our server, Joey, was fantastic—his menu knowledge and recommendations were spot on. The food was exquisite, with fresh, vibrant flavors, and the sunset views were breathtaking. The ambiance and oceanfront setting made for a perfect evening. Highly recommend asking for Joey when you visit! 2024

We were staying at the hotel and hungry so the hotel restaurant is always an easy choice. But I have to say, this is a restaurant people should try...from start to finish...excellent!

Let's start with service, Austin is a true professional. Fantastic charisma so the experience started off the right way with his knowledge of the menu and recommendations.

Kicked off drinks with a signature martini that entailed table side pour over custom ice. Very nice. Continued with a very good dry martini to compensate for the sweet starter cocktail.

For apps, we tried the crab cakes and the tuna roll. Crab cakes were so good I had them again the next day in the crab cake BLT...lol The tuna roll was top level sushi..super fresh! Great presentation.

Entrees were scallops with pork belly and more tuna (seared). I tried a bit of the tuna and it was perfectly rare with great fresh flavor. The scallops were a bit small but well prepared with nice flavor. The smokey pork belly and polenta/charred corn paired really well with the scallops.

No dessert but they have a complimentary sunset champagne toast...perfect touch before heading to the bar.

Hotel restaurants can definitely be "meh" but honestly this place should be a destination based on service, food, and view!

Dinner - rather expensive but very good quality. Service was excellent. Friendly group all throughout the hotel. We also stayed at this Hilton Hiatus property and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is on the 7th or top floor with a great view. I recommend umbrellas on the deck in the front.

We were staying here at the hotel and didn't want to venture far. The view of the sunset can't be beaten. They bring out champagne to toast the sunset! Service was awesome, food very good!

Food very expensive, limited menu, not to the level of the value. Service was good, until the waitress forgot some of the meal and delivered it after I was finished with my meal. No acknowledging the error, or offering to take it off the bill. Only a few inside tables with views. We live at the beach and will go to SeaGuini which as a broader menu with the costs that reach the quality of food.

We have an awesome Dinner with close friends and family for my son's 17th birthday .. the service is excellent., we are seated in a private room and we have the room to ourselves.. we loved the food and the staff that serves us was amazing! I'm very bad in names so I don't remember his name .. would be great to try the sunset dinner someday ( the times are booked that night ) .. I will definitely be coming back soon ?

Great restaurant. All of the food was very good, the service was top-notch, and the view was one of the best I've ever seen anywhere.

I booked Ocean Seven for my 6 year anniversary, my girlfriend and I are locals and have been wanting to try this spot since they opened. When I tell you they beat any expectations I could have had for this place, I mean it. I made a special request to sit with a view as close to the water as possible and they accommodated perfectly. Our waiter Aggelos was outstanding with great knowledge of the menu and great service in general. The manager even came over to say hi and checked on us as well. Most restaurants do not do the little things that are appreciated and Ocean Seven did. Now the food! It was amazing, I had the scallops/pork belly while my girlfriend had the special which was a fresh hog fish dish. Scallops were seared just right & the hog fish could not of tasted better. 10/10 Whether you are on vacation or a local, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Brooke was our server and she is absolutely amazing!! Patrick helped her too and he was incredibly friendly and courteous. My sisters and I were here for a bachelorette trip and we so enjoyed Brooke’s expertise and phenomenal service helping guide us through the menu! It was such a beautiful restaurant and the quality of the food was absolutely spectacular! The sunset champagne toast was the cherry on top! Wonderful experience and couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Hey guys, I am someone that never leaves a bad review. I am also a business owner, and I would like to point out that the food is terrible. Server came out to serve food with plastic dishes. You guys have a great view, great location, so much potential, but the food is not up to standards. I am willing to remove the bad review, just provide better food.
