Pattaya Thai Restaurant

I've been coming here for years and just realized that I've never left a review! This lil restaurant has an incredibly tasty menu and is my go-to spot for pad thai. Excellent food quality, portion size, consistency and service 🤌🏼🌟

I wish I had discovered this restaurant earlier! After trying so many places in town, this is the only one that serves a genuinely delicious, authentic Pad Thai. Absolutely worth it.

Vegan items are clearly marked on menu (including dessert). Staff is able to answer questions. Food is so good! Its very small so not great for large groups.

Had a great meal at Pattaya Thai. The service was great and our server explained the dishes to us very well. The food was outstanding. We had the Pumpkin Curry and Pattaya Thai, both were phenomenal.

Incredible food and service. Maybe the best soup I've ever had and their take on fried rice is sublime.

Great little place! Food is good and the price is super low!! I had their red curry lunch special for less than $11?? Wouldn’t mind paying a couple more bucks for that jasmine rice to take it over the top ;-)

We’ve been loyal customers for years, especially since my coworkers and I work nearby and used to order regularly. But after our most recent experience, we won’t be coming back.

We placed a large carryout order over the phone and were surprised to be charged more than what’s listed online. For example, the Angel Wings are shown as $7.99 on Yelp (and it states it was last updated July 2025), but we were charged $11.99.

Several dishes we requested mild came out completely bland and flavorless. And one dish we ordered—garlic chicken—was wrong; we received ginger chicken instead. I was reading off a written list, so I know exactly what I said.

When I called to let them know, the response was basically “we read it back to you, too bad.” No apology, no effort to make it right, and no concern whatsoever.

It’s disappointing to be treated this way after years of supporting them. This experience was the last straw and we won’t be returning.

I came to eat here twice last year and I absolutely loved it! Drove from Lakeland because of how much I enjoyed the food last time - but the quality has definitely gone down. I ordered the red curry and I literally had to scrape the bottom of the plate to get maybe a couple spoons of curry. It was very dry and very bland + there was barely any curry in the curry. I was surprisingly disappointed, most probably will not return.

Really good Chicken Pad Thai. This may be the best place I’ve tried in Tampa area
