I placed my order a week in advance, got confirmation my order was received and that it would be ready for pick up today, 10/20. I got an email last night saying my order was fulfilled. I went to the store today to pick it up and they didn’t have it. I was told they were having issues with their computer system due to the recent hurricane and that the meals I chose were not in stock.
I understand computer issues happen, however what I don’t understand is why did I get an email telling me my order was fulfilled when it was not? Why did I not receive a call, text, or email? Why did I have to show up at the store to find out they didn’t have my order?
TERRIBLE customer service. This was my first time ordering from Pelican and I will not be back.

Unfortunately, after trying Pelican meals for about a month, I don't think I will continue purchasing meals from them. For the price point, this is an excellent choice for any local college students or fitness-focused individuals. As a runner, I was very interested due to the macros.
However, the only meals I have enjoyed are the naked pulled chicken and steak meals. I do recommend those! You get great macros for the price! I add hot sauce and salt for flavor. It's also a great time saver since you won't have to cook and meal prep yourself.
Other than those meals, it seems that the quality is just not there. First, it doesn't help that the online photos aren't an accurate representation of what you're getting. The salmon seems very low quality, and anything with mashed potatoes, marinara sauce, sausage, or ground beef tastes funky. Besides the naked meals, I have not found anything else I've enjoyed.

The price is great for us because we buy enough to get a discount each week. ($7/meal Total) Sometimes I feel the food is not seasoned enough, but I also realize that seasoning is a personal choice and I can always add my own. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Pelican Meals!
