The food was hit or miss. My daughter and grandson both received burgers that had bloody centers still. My pork chops were seasoned with garlic powder not a more flavorful garlic form. The sides and my salad were great. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were good. My chocolate pie was as was expected.
Our server was very busy but still not productive. We were there for 2 hours and still didn't get everything we were supposed to. She also told us kids eat free on Fridays and convinced us to buy my 1 year old granddaughter a meal. She failed to know that it ended at 10 pm which was when we arrived.
The manager was openly rude to the sweet young man who was working the checkout.

We visited last night after a concert. Not knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised at the fast, friendly service and great food. That late Saturday night waitresses were short staffed and handling it like champs. Great job all around!

Blueberry pancakes are fluffy - eggs were fresh and the bacon was crunchy. Overall a great first time meal.

Brought back the wrong food. Waited for them to bring back correct order just for them to bring us cold food. We felt completely ignored and managers can care less!

Perkins is a hometown favorite and for good reason, they do the staples right. Mashed potatoes, salmon, chicken and such are always exactly what you would expect.

The service is on par with a fancier restaurant with very attentive servers and welcoming attitudes and energy. Chris is superb with his wit and his professionalism.

The price is something that could be worked with, but as with everything nowadays it is doable.

Do yourself a favor and go enjoy some Perkins. You will not be disappointed. 😊

The pancakes were awesome, but the eggs were kinda blah, and the bacon was soggy. Service was fantastic, our server was a sweetheart. That manager, the muffin man, was a total dud though. The place felt like it was stuck in the 90s, which isn't ideal. Prices were surprisingly reasonable, though.

Went for breakfast with my bestie this morning and we had a delicious meal, on the cheap. I was also excited to see all the toy filled cranes in the lobby!! Fantastic!!! So fun!

Last night, a kind soul at this restaurant truly "saved my life." I was driving home from work in Tampa, late in the evening, when I encountered a car that had broken down in front of me. There were car parts scattered across the road, and while trying to navigate around them, I mistakenly thought I was avoiding just a gray plastic bag. To my surprise, it was actually a hard plastic part from the broken-down vehicle, and it got stuck underneath my Ford C-Max.

Hearing an odd noise, I pulled over into a nearby parking lot and attempted to remove the piece by kicking it, but was unsuccessful. Looking around for assistance, I noticed a Perkins Restaurant nearby. I went inside and asked if I could borrow a broom to move the object. The staff member seemed hesitant, but after asserting my need, I was given the broom. Unfortunately, the object didn’t budge.

Just then, a worker from the restaurant was leaving. I approached him, broom in hand, and explained the situation. What happened next was truly remarkable: without hesitation, he took the broom from me, lay down on the ground, and with determination, he removed the object from beneath my car.

I offered to give him a ride home as a thank-you, but he kindly declined, saying he enjoyed walking. He even returned the broom, but I insisted on keeping it, wanting to share the story of his kindness with his manager. I went inside and told the staff that a short, young Asian man had gone above and beyond to help me. The manager immediately recognized him and said, "Ah, that was Peter," adding that he would not accept any form of compensation.

I was deeply moved by Peter’s generosity. In that moment, I felt incredibly grateful, even singing to myself, ā€œIf I were a rich manā€¦ā€ I truly believe that this thoughtful, caring individual is a great asset to your team. Thank you to the restaurant’s owner or hiring manager for recognizing such a wonderful personality in Peter. Peter, I wish you the best of luck and all the appreciation you truly deserve on your life’s journey.
