Philly's Famous Cheesesteaks

We moved by this place about a year ago and decided to try it out today, well before you actually get the food it all sounds good and looks like it’s good looking at the menu. I got a Philly cheesesteak and added peppers and light onions plus lettuce; it had a good amount of lettuce but I saw and tasted no peppers and only like 3 little onions but was charged for the peppers and onions. The steak on the sub did not taste good at all and I added mayo but did not taste or see any mayo on the sub; the sub was dry and not flavorful to the point where I couldn’t even finish it all. I ordered the fried Oreos and even after 2 years, the ones I had before taste 1000x better than these. My partners got the Italian sub and it was dry and flavorless; each of our sub’s meat tasted like something you get from the dollar store. The blueberry cheesecake was the best thing we got and it was decent. But, the ladies there were very nice. And before the owner tries to discredit my review, just know that this is an honest review and I will not be back there to eat.

Doesn't matter what I get from here everything has always been top notch. I've had probably had half the menu so far and haven't been disappointed yet about anything. Sometimes I wish they wasn't 5 min away lol

Most philly cheese steak places don't use the authentic amoroso rolls and it truly makes all the difference!!! They also don't offer a wiz option which was always my go-to growing up in philly. This place fulfilled all my snobby cheese steak requirements ?I love the crispy fries too! Much respect for the delicious authentic food!!

Food not ready on time despite them sending the email it was. As I returned to my hotel room I was surprised by just how much grease had coated the paper bag. As I opened it the styrofoam was melted to my food. Don’t waste your time at this business.

Edit: Restaurant responds here but not via email about a refund for the food ruined by the melted styrofoam container. Completely ignored that they served unsafe food to a customer and just made excuses.

It was a first and a last time to buy any food in philly's. This was a take out order.
I ordered a double burger but I got just a regular. The meat was dried out, hard to make a bite. I believe, that was an old leftover, long time cooked burger.
I also ordered 1/2 a pound chicken wings but I got a 7 ounces chicken nuggets.
Certainly I called the store but a lady who served me, thought I am stupid and she can even sell me the Brooklyn Bridge.
I am angry and it is really hard to digest what happened as I called back the store and I talk with the manager. He is worse than a lady and he tried to humiliate but offered me to bring back the food.
They made a "mistake" and I have to back to spend my time and my gasoline to get a right food? That is nonsense.
The manager isn't costumer friendly at all.
I asked the corporate office number, they said, it isn't corporate office. I asked the owner or any higher management number, but I don't get it. The manager said, I am horrible and put it down the phone.
I don't think I am horrible I just wanted to get the food I ordered and paid.
Because the attitude these people treated me I am definitely will file a BBB report and I will find the authority who will talk with these people.

Update: I am even pissed more. The sales woman argued with me, she charged just a regular burger. I found their menu and that clearly says, the double burger is $7.99. This is what she charged, this is what I paid. BUT! I got an old regular, dried, chewy, uneatable meat.

Place is super good best cheesesteaks and fries I’ve ever had. Tucked away next to Aldi on Missouri. Super good treats.
