Pico Rojo Rotisserie

Ordered two 1/4 chicken meal …one dark meat one white… wanting dark worst men wanting less… called and explained and was told that dark meat is less amount of meat. Mixes we’ll go with the white meat.

Incredible food, incredible owner and staff. A must try.

We were going to eat at the restaurant nearby but it was closed so we decided to try this place. OMG!! The chicken! The yucca! The string beans!! Delicious!!! We got a whole chicken to go to share in with our family at home. Absolutely great place!

Pico Rojo has been a favorite for probably about 10 years. The food is always consistently delicious, and the staff is always super friendly. Highly recommend!

I have previously worked here before and i can say the owner cared a lot about the quality of the food, if a meal isn’t good enough for him to eat then he wont serve it. He prepares fresh food daily and very sanitized kitchen. They slow rotisserie chicken for an hour from their hand marinated chickens using 37 Special Blend seasoning. Couple of their best items is their Chicken Salad which not a lot of people know about, as well as their loaded empanadas. Update (could be better) a bit greasy last few times I went. Quality has gone down.

Best chicken in Tampa Bay area!! Extremely fresh and juicy chicken. Quality food at this restraunt. Meals are absoultely delicious. Pricey but good

SO GOOD! And SO FRESH! I could taste the freshness of the food. It was not busy when we went, but it was later at night close to their closing time. Staff was friendly and again the food was awesome! Will go again for food soon!

Being on a gluten-free/ celiac diet is not always easy. However, this local restaurant has so many gluten free options, it is amazing! I absolutely love their vegetarian dish- made up of gluten free sides. It is absolutely delicious and fresh! I was most surprised by the fried cheese and plantains. The plantains were sweet, soft, and had a crunchy outer layer! Amazing! The cheese was so flavorful and savory.
