I discovered Poppa’s BBQ when I went to get an X-ray at the Chiropractor next door.
Poppa’s BBQ is a little BBQ spot that is a hidden gem. I purchased a rack of ribs. The ribs are tender and full of flavor. I also got 4 quarters of legs and thighs. ( Both free and reheat with ease. ) The chicken is perfectly seasoned. For me this means, adding my own seasonings if needed. I also ordered individual sides of potato salad, beans and coleslaw. They tasted homemade and I could tell Poppa’s BBQ takes pride in their food!
What really sets this place apart is the customer service. Stephenie and Nicki were friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to make me feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where they remember you and treat you like family.
If you’re craving delicious BBQ with a personal touch, this restaurant is a must‑try. I’ll definitely visit again and again!

Wonderful place to get some excellent bbq. One of the best ribs I've ever had. Juicy, tender but just enough push back to make them go pop when you bite into it. Wow!!!! The ladies behind the counter were very kind and helpful.

Just discovered this little BBQ gem in Pinellas Park. The simplicity of the Memphis style ribs has the perfect spice mixture with the meat falling off the bone. The pulled pork was moist and with a little house BBQ sauce was absolutely delicious. Definitely a place to go for BBQ. I’ll be back.
