The giant slice pizza, the meatballs, and the spinach and artichoke dip are some of the best I've ever had! Don't sleep on this strip mall location! Absolutely wonderful food!
Upon arrival the cashier told us they didn't know we were coming and didn't have the staff to cook and serve us. She sent us away. When we called back later to take to a manager the cashier answered and hung up on us. We've sent messages on social media with no response. Don't waste your time with this place. Unfortunately we read other reviews too late. Would not recommend.

Although servers were very nice that was only good thing about this place . Took 45mins to get a burnt pizza with no cheese and that was because they messed up the first one. Soup looked like a 10 year old made it and house salad is pretty much just romaine lettuce! Total waste of $50!!!!

No complaints on the food but such terrible service. Even though our server was actually nice, she was very distracted and did not do good at all. Took forever to take our drinks and our order. We got the salad and the pasta, but never got our pizza because she clearly forgot about it. She even came to our table to ask if we wanted some dessert. We reminded her about the pizza, and she even asked what kinda pizza we had ordered. On top of that, they did not even have the intention to prepare it so we decided to leave. We were never approached by management or anything. Terrible experience.

Delicious pizza! We went once to eat in and the service was wonderful. Tonight we picked up our pizza and a delicious slice of tiramisu that was homemade. We will be back!!

Great GLUTEN FREE CAULIFLOWER CRUST, it is thin but crispy . The service once we arrived was amazing. The pizza was cooked incorrectly,the waitress noticed, took responsibility and had it re-fixed immediately, reported quickly to our table so we were aware of the additional time. The TOMATO BASIL SOUP was also very nice. I would not give this place the highest marking is because we phoned,on hold for 18 minutes, still on hold when we walked in, and there was NO APPARENT REASON for someone not picking our call back up. The staff was standing near the phone and just CHATTING . The restaurant was not busy so
Worst experience we ever had in Clearwater! We visited Russo's after a shoping tour at around 2pm. Besides us only two guests were in the restaurant. We were not greeted but recognized and given the menue. After that we got ignored for around 20 minutes. So we decided to leave and definitely never come back.

Place looks amazing. We were excited to eat here on NYE and made a 8:00 reservation through Open Table for our party of 8. We showed up at 6:30 because we were hungry and wanted to eat earlier. Place was empty. Hostess says they had staff issues and only had pizzas available. We left because some of our party wanted the pasta. My only reason for posting is I never got an alert saying they had a limited menu. A heads up would have been nice on NYE. We made a reservation so we wouldn't have to search all over for a place which is what ended up happening.

Made reservation for NYE. Showed up and the waitress comes to the table and says they are only service pizza that day. A sign on the door or a posting to the scheduled reservations would have been nice.

Well, I have an update I did revisit russo's this last Friday to see how things where while under pressure I revisited around 3-4pm, as soon as I walked in the door and sat down just to add I wasn't greeted or acknowledged during the time as I walked in nor while I got situated into my table and while I was waiting on a waitress to come over to my table (please note that during the time I was there there was one other table with customers) it took over two minutes for a waitress even to acknowledge the fact I had sat down in her section. For an Italian based restaurant you expect to be welcomed and treated like part of a family when sitting down to eat. Since I was the only other table seated at the time and ordered a single slice of pizza, I expected my slice of pizza to be done around 5-8 minutes after ordering (greetings and when the food should be brought out after ordered are important to me) the food took almost 13-15 minutes from the time I ordered to the time it got to my plate and the pizza slice was broken in half when it got to me. See the photo for proof. The food was still good and the flavors where still as expected excellent.Unfortunately this is where things went kinda sideways for me, I have kitchen and food handling experience and observed my waitress who turned out to be the front of house manager cough openly without using her shoulders or elbows to cover her mouth and then later using her hand to cover her mouth and proceeded to not wash her hands afterward for at least 5 minutes (as far as I could observe) and actively handle a food order for carryout, I did try to reach out to the owner directly to address the lapse in food handling and safety protocols that night but it's been over 24 hours and no reply or response to my outreach. The food is great but I would definitely recommend after watching everything unfold Friday afternoon a retraining of the staff in food handling protocols until or unless that happens please give the restaurant a pass until these issues are addressed.
