Dined on Memorial Day weekend 2025 Sunday evening. Our server Julie was very pleasant, kind, attentive, friendly and professional. She was hustling every moment! Despite having to take care of several tables she never lost her focus and continued to offer excellent service. You could immediately tell that she enjoyed her job and it showed! If ALL servers in ALL restaurants could be just like her it would be a perfect world! The crusted calamari piccata appetizer was excellent. The Cesar Salad was executed nicely. My wife had the mushroom stuffed tortellini and she did not like the taste. I sampled one of her tortellini's and I did not like it either. It had an “off” taste to it but it could be that it just wasn't to our liking. Our server removed it from our bill which was appreciated. Our server apologized and asked if there was anything else that she could get for her and my wife decided that her burrata appetizer and the bread that was served was enough for her this evening. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare and it was tender. Our desserts were delicious. I had the pineapple upside down cake and my wife had the sticky toffee pudding. This is our second visit to Rusty's and it certainly will not be our last. I am a retired executive chef with over thirty years in restaurant and FOH hotel restaurant management. If only I could have had the pleasure of hiring a server as competent as Julie who took care of us on this Sunday evening. A quick word of advice to Rusty's food & beverage manager. DO NOT Julie go anywhere! Do whatever it takes to keep her happy and a key member of your service staff. Servers like her are a rare find!

The website for the restaurant was totally misleading in relation to the menu at the restaurant. The two did not match up. Not enough selection of choices in the restaurant. Food was a little salty and somewhat dry.

Beautiful 3 course Easter meal. I went with a party of 9 and the meal was incredible. I had shrimp cocktail, prime rib with mashed potatoes and spinach and ended with key line cheesecake. I'm so full. It was all perfect. Service was great. Highly recommended for Easter or anytime.

The only issue with Rusty's is that there is no view. The food was great and Emily did a great job as our server.

Everything was excellent, wife had the grilled octopus done perfectly meatball appetizer done perfectly , salads were excellent, Bolognese was fabulous, and the staff was magnificent

This was a make up to our not so great Valentine's Day experience and WOW, they definitely delivered this time. Thank you, Maria, Jason, Emily and Chef Artley for the personalized, fun and delicious experience! Definitely would make the trip again for a special occasion!

Valentines menu was not ideal. My wife and I had a reservation for 9. We arrived a little early to be seated 20 mins after the reservation. Our server did not see us for at least 30 mins. The server was nice but not very attentive. No drinks offered. Then the food. The menu was a very limited menu 3 course menu. That's fine but the portions were very small. The steak was decent I would say 2.5/5. Crab cakes were too salty. Overall would not recommend on Valentine's Day. Would probably not return again. Food very pricey for what it was.

I must start with saying we had a selection and chose Rusty's Bistro, drove an HOUR to get there, had reservations and when we arrived were told they were behind and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Every lady that was seated got a rose, except me, no biggie, but be consistency was absurd. Sat down, saw the terrible menu selection that consisted of only 4 dishes to choose from, 3 which were seafood and only one steak option which was for 2, so my poor husband got stuck with steak as I don't eat seafood, not to mention we both had to settle on temperature as we both like completely opposite temps. The sides were non-negotiate and again, something I do not eat and am allergic to (mushrooms). It took the waitress 30 minutes to bring our drink order and then another 20 minutes before our food order was taken. From that point it took 30 minutes to get our bowl of salad and bread that should have been at the table when we sat down. Our main course took a good hour to come out and lacked flavor. I must mention during that entire time we waited our waitress NEVER checked on us or our empty drinks. Food was dropped off by someone else, who didn't even bother to ask if we needed something else or if the temp looked ok, etc. She also walked by several times after we got our food and didn't bother to stop and ask about our meal also. When the dessert came, she literally was moving so fast she dropped the plates and walked off, again, didn't ask how things were or if we needed anything. I must mention they ran out of what dessert my husband originally ordered and the remaining options were not of his desire. Finally when she came by to ask how dessert was, we asked for our check as we were and had been beyond ready to leave. Lastly, Managers were also checking on all tables service, except ours. The most disappointing experience I have ever had in my life, literally, my life and $180 for 2 people on such crap service and food is a true disgrace! Terrible!!

I had looked on the website menu and it was different when I sat down to order. I was disappointed in that respect, because they did not have the items that I wanted. The food that I settled on was good. The wait staff was very friendly and efficient.

Food was amazing! Staff was perfect and hats off to Jason Stiger who was the most professional manager I've ever met. I owned a restaurant before so I'm picky. I would highly recommend Rustys at Sheraton Sand Key. Walter our server extremely professional. Highly recommend Tim Shellabarger
