Hamburger was just average and our service person kind of forgot about us. Never came back after bringing out our food but was a nice person.

We had our breakfast here, the first day, there’s a piece of plastic inside of the cooked egg cup, the 2nd day, there’s a gnat in the cooked oak meal. The food is ok. Need more quality control.

The food was delicious. Our waiter was very nice and on point with everything. The restaurant could use some instrumental music played low in the background or Christmas music during the holiday (we went during the holiday). It was awfully quiet. Ambience was nice though. It's great that the restaurant is located within the hotel, for those who do not want to go out. Would highly recommend.
The most underrated restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I’ve eaten here 4 nights in a row. I’d go back for a 5th! The service is five star. We now have a favorite waiter-Ryan- who has been on point with recommendations, managing even the most difficult of my business colleagues, and rolls with the punches when something goes wrong. Serious gem. The food- to die for! Always get the bread- it’s fluffy and moist yet just the right amount of crisp on the outside and full of flavor- not bland dense cold bread like you’d think. The chef gets textures exceptionally right. The burratta salad is a must for me- fresh chilled tomatoes each evening paired with the creamiest of burutta. Ryan recommended the calamari the third night. Just do it- it’s going to look different but you won’t regret it- never rubbery. Almost like you’re watching cheese crisps with the perfect char. I’ve now had the NY strip (twice- and even juicy when well-done), the salmon (onto can’t have any- it was by accident I ordered and they went with it ;) but oh it was so flavorful), and the parpadelle (perfect pasta Al dente with a delicious bolognese and creamy fettuccine style sauce). Every.single.bite has been fantastic! Then we have desserts- just get the pineapple upside down cake. Unless your business partners like the key lime cheesecake (not a pie- a cheesecake) both are delicious, right-sized, the perfect texture, and bright. I heard there was coconut snow but it wasn’t even missed! Basically it’s all good. You can pick for yourself or I’d just have Ryan pick at this point. This place deserves so much more marketing and recognition!
Dinner at Rusty's last night was absolutely incredible. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the service made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. I can't wait to go back again soon.
Unfortunately a regretful decision to dine at Rusty's Bistro at Sheraton Sand Key for Thanksgiving. Very poor value for the money at $69.00 a plate buffet style for one Man and 4 ladies. Then they actually charge extra for iced tea! Food was not anything special and the stuffing they served was actually not good at all. (Over seasoned with not sure what). Service was fine but not very friendly at all. Desserts were completely mediocre. Atmosphere was sterile. Don't like to be negative, but not the best $428 I have ever spent for nothing special at all.
Thanksgiving buffet fabulous! Presented beautifully and the best turkey and prime rib I have ever had. The waiter, Carlos, was so attentive even helping my friend and I up and down the few steps and holding our plates for us. Arrived 1:15 p.m. by the time we leisurely ate and left the restaurant was not even half full yet. The total with tax for the buffet was $73. But the selection of food, the elegance, the ambience and being treated like you were a VIP in the restaurant and the entire hotel made it definitely worth it. Plus I didn't have to cook and clean up afterwards!
Breakfast was good but service was poor.
Great Food and Great Service. Ryan was our waiter and he was great. A joy!

We went out for Date Night found Rusty's Bistro on Open Table. Directions were spot on and the reception was warm. The restaurant had lots of table availability but we had reservations. Brian was our server and he had charm and full knowledge about the area, and his attitude was very friendly. Our drinks 🥤 had good balance of taste and alcohol that made us happy. We gave the restaurant and Brian 5⭐️ because of their food and service. This hidden gem is a must visit when you're in the Clearwater area either before or after your Sunset.
Everything was fine, except we wanted a particular server Minerva that we thought was working. But the server we got, Carlos was fine. Except we did have to ask for menus. It wasn't busy, but we had to wait a while to get our checks and we were in a hurry. The food was excellent, as usual.
Restaurant is situated as the Sheraton Sand Key (Marriott family of hotels) and was convenient while attending conference there. Write-up was good for the restaurant / chef and apparently it is off-season so the restaurant was slow and quiet. Seating request was noted upon arrival and honored. Waiter was friendly (maybe a little too friendly for semi-formal setting). Food was good as my wife enjoyed her seafood entre very much and the chicken roulade was moist and tasty as were the vegetables. The mushroom risotto looked promising but was too salty. We planned to return the next evening but when we arrived, shortly after they opened for dinner service, we were greeted by the hostess and asked to come back in 30 minutes because they had just seated a party of 20. There must be 50-plus tables in the place and they had just opened for dinner that evening and were not scheduled to be busy. She suggested we go "next door" to the Mainstay Tavern which is another in-hotel dining option and had a wonderful meal there instead. Thought that could have been handled more professionally and differently but I think she was simply flustered and possibly inexperienced. We did discuss with the front desk staff upon check-out as I felt they needed to be aware and to pass along to the F&B manager.
I Had a hamburger. It was good, juicy and flavorful. The nachos were also good. Next time I will only have the cheese on my nachos and get the sauces on the side. The sauces were good, it's just too much plopped on there for my liking. Would definitely come back
