Gave this location a try...one of my favorites now. I personally like Tex-mex, but there is authentic if you want it. The pics don't do the place justice. It's a legit very clean restaurant. Never had bad service or food yet. The chips and salsa are gratis. The salsa is great! Frozen margs are awesome. The peach and piña colada are the best (huge as well, around $10 for the medium). I personally get the #24...the beans and rice are . They have homemade hot sauce, or cholula and another type of bottled. Both servers I have had....are class acts. Definitely will make this a take-out option as well. Give this place a try, nice parking lot, clean and cozy inside.

When we first arrived there was only 2 people there around 6 pm on a Friday so we didn't know what to expect. Found out they have only been open for about 5 months. We were glad we stayed, the food was flavorful, delicious, and many options. It was happy hour. So we each had 2 beers, an entrée each and our bill was less than $30. We will be back, better than we expected.

When the old location was open in Pinellas Park, I would have raved about this place. After visiting this location, I don't care if I ever go back. We were regulars at the Pinellas location. A few waiters and waitresses knew us and always smiled and greeted us as we walked in the door. The food was consistent and service could be counted on. We have now been to this location 2 times since they opened. The first time it was very somewhat busy and the food was alright. It wasn't exactly like the other location but it had some taste and the chips and salsa were good. Flash forward to this last time... My family and I walked into the location and were greeted at the door, told to sit anywhere and then started to look at the menu. The restaurant was empty. The only people in the restaurant besides my family was two employees in a booth that were obviously on their phones. After about 10 minutes, I walked over to the woman who seated us and asked if our server could come over. The server came over, brought us chips and salsa, took our drink order and went back and sat down, without getting our drinks. I made eye contact with her while she was carrying on with another server and she rolled her eyes at me, and then came over, took a deep breath and said "What do you want?" I asked where our drinks were and she said she would get them and then we asked for Queso. I wish we would have just ordered right then and there. We had so much hope because we loved the "chain" but I was losing faith. She came back with 2/3 drinks, a half filled queso, even though we asked for 2 and then without saying anything, walked back over to talk to her friend. A few minutes later she came to take our order. I kid you not, there is no way she was listening because by the time our food came out it was all wrong. We were the only ones in the restaurant. It should not have been like this. My sister is a vegetarian and said cheese twice and she still brought her meat. She brought me a completely different combo and then brought my mom out her food. When I said something, she again rolled her eyes and said that was the way we ordered it and walked away. Another woman came over to offer help with the issues and fixed my sister's food. She was very obviously upset at this point. The girl never even bothered to come to the table again. There is such a thing as good service and bad service and this was just pathetic. I don't know that I will be back. There is plenty of parking out front. It's a little awkward to pull in but you can park anywhere.

We used to love this restaurant but it has gone downhill over the last couple of weeks. We arrived for dinner tonight, ordered a pitcher of margaritas which tasted like watered down punch. There was only one other couple in the restaurant but we sat for over 15 minutes with no one coming to take our order. This was TRULY disappointing @! We will not be back!

Just OK food. No Maxican flavor, good quantity not quality.

The food here is so tasty i might turn obese. And Jimmy is one of the best waiters i met. The owner of this place should make him a partner.

So I order, Santa Fe Shrimp quesadilla, it was amazing. The lunch fajitas is a hell of a deal. Then tonight I got brochetas of the sea and the salsa is amazing!

I visited your restaurant while my stay in Clearwater, at you Gulf Bay Boulevard location. Was basically asked to leave for no reason. I am a blonde female, thin. They literally asked me to leave. As well I did. What a complete disgrace!!!!

Mexican food that carries no spice does not work for me. Food was decent enough but very bland. On a plus side the margaritas looked great.

One person waiting two tables at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Didn't get my margharita until 10 minutes after my meal came and it was wrong. Go to the Largo location on Clearwater-Largo road, always good service and delicious food.

The other Santa Re location is so much better.

Santa Fe is a hidden gem on Clearwater Largo Rd just north of West Bay. They have a wide variety of options on their menu and the price point is very appealing! We get takeout from here about 1 to 2 times a month and it's convenient for my family. The food is pretty good overall and the portions are big. My favorite part about Santa Fe is the consistency. My food seems to taste the same every single time and I can pick it up 10 minutes after I order. I'd recommend getting the monster burrito - which is absolutely HUGE. It's probably two meals for most. I've also had the chimichangas and they are solid plus the sauce is delicious. You can't go wrong with chips and queso as well but I wish there was a little more kick to it. The homemade chips are one of the best though so it evens out. I hope this place continues to be consistent because I will keep giving them my business!
