Great fresh rolls. Would say the value matched island pricing for something like sushi. Not huge rolls but very good flavor combinations. Sashimi plate left a little to be desired for being 18 pieces.

Incredibly poor experience at Sekushi!! Although the sushi and edamame were fine (average at best for the price), everything else about the experience was truly horrible. The tables are jammed into a very tight space and the high-top seats are uncomfortable metal contraptions that double as torture devices for anyone with lower back pain. When we arrived, we were plunked into the middle of a packed area with many open seats along the banquets. Despite asking to be seated in an area with a little elbow room, we were declined. We ordered edamame to start with orders of sushi for my main and chicken teriyaki for my wife. Service was poor all evening, but the lack of balance in the kitchen made it horrible. My sushi arrived about 10 mins after ordering - before the edamame starter. When we mentioned it, there was no apology - just that the “kitchens were different”and that “it would be out soon”. It was not soon! 20 mins later, the edamame arrived, while my sushi sat waiting for my wife's main course. It took another 10 mins for my wife's teriyaki to arrive, a full 30 mins between delivery of our mains. Staff was somewhat apologetic, and seemed to approach the manager (owner?) a few times. Unfortunately, the wait was not worth it - the chicken was way overcooked and the teriyaki was inedible due to excess salt. Further, the accompanying rice was 1/2 cooked. Staff took the Teriyaki off the bill, but no apology was forthcoming and the manager (owner?) never bothered to say anything too us - despite being less than 10 feet from us for the horrible hour we were there.

We really enjoyed this spot! Highly recommend going during happy hour 5-6pm. They have quite a few nice options for rolls and apps. The shrimp scampi and rolls were ordered were delicious. The pork dumplings also very good. We ordered two noodle bowls and kids ramen. We enjoyed all of it!

Food was delicious. Service was horrendous! Waited 20 minutes to have our order taken and then our server ghosted us and never checked back in until I spoke with the owner. Sad to see that great food can be forgotten when the service is so terrible!

I cannot sing the praises of this establishment enough. I’m from Baltimore, here for only a few days and popped into Sekushi solo while my wife and toddler napped.First off, Happy Hour/s from 12-6! And so many options I got to sample quite a bit of their menu. I also got some cold sake in a glass and followed that with a full bottle of the hot sake. The salmon sushi was only $2 a pop and the rolls on happy hour were super affordable and delicious.Everything was ? just perfect and I eat a lot of sushi. Ordinary rolls were spruced up with nice additions as well.To top it all off, never doubt the sushi prowess of a young up-and-coming local sushi chef in his early 20s. The rice was great, fish fresh, and price oh so right.James is the gentleman preparing the sushi, Rod is on the flat grill, and tell them Aaron’s review from Baltimore got you through the door. We had great conversation (sake helped) and it felt like my local spot even though I’m not from here. I spent less than $50, brought my wife home a full meal of sushi, and indulged without breaking the bank.Thank you all for the experience and for reminding me that affordable quality still exists. Loved every thing about this place. Katelynn was so helpful. I had the Firecracker roll and Kyoto roll…spectacular!! The dumplings were so flavorful. The best I’ve ever had. My daughter’s Ramen was perfect and authentic. Sitting outside in the warm evening while it cooled down was relaxing and the service was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Food and Service during meal were good. Overcharged by $10 on credit card ($10 more than I signed for), which I discovered after I left Tampa and was home through my credit card app. I tried contacting them twice at the email on the website and had to go through my credit card to get this resolved. No response at all to my email to Sekushi. Lots of time spent on what started as a good experience and now will be remembered in a bad experience.

Happy hour was incredible and all of the food was excellent! We had a variety of foods from the happy hour menu and everything was absolutely amazing. Such a hidden gem and perfect for a break from the beach!

Came in on our last day on vacation. The food was incredibly fresh and came out quickly. The happy hour deals are out of this world. The staff was so welcoming and engaged with us throughout the meal. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this place if you’re a sushi lover planning on visiting Clearwater.

Great trendy atmosphere, lots of space and light. Happy hour menu until 7 pm! Outdoor seating. Spacious bar seating. The menu offers lots of options, so if you don’t care for sushi there are lots of other choices. Food arrived fresh and hot. Servers were very friendly and accommodating.
