This place is a hidden gem. Totally legit BBQ and some of the best I have had in the country! It was a good sign to see Gene out in the parking lot chopping wood for the smoker as we drove in. All the food is home made. I have eaten BBQ all across the country, including Gates, Joes, Arthur Bryant's, Jack Stack and Q39. I would put this up against any of these other places. For sure they beat out Gates, Joes and Jack Stack in my book! We had the pork Ribs, pulled pork, and a kids burger for entrees. The meat was tender, flavorful and juicy with a Smokey flavor. Sauce was on the side which is nice because you can taste the meat and add sauce to complement (not trying to hide behind sauces). Both the sweet and mild sauces were great. Both were very balanced. For sides we had the Mac and cheese (highly recommended), potato salad and beans. All were fantastic! The buttered garlic bread was crisp and flavorful and the cornbread was light and fluffy. Carolyn was our server. She provided excellent service and was super friendly. The prices are very good and this place is family friendly. To top it off the sunset view was spectacular. Go get yourself some top shelf BBQ.

Excellent bbq. Their ribs and pork are delicious. Their honey sauce is phenomenal. Service is really good. Ambiance is kinda divey. No brisket unfortunately.

Best BBQ I have ever had! Wings with mustard sauce is a must. Actually, everything is amazing. This place should be packed full 24/7. Prices are extremely affordable. Staff is super kind and family oriented. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I was pleasantly surprised when we stumbled onto this bbq restaurant. the menu was well planned out, easy to order from. there w sandwiches and dinner plates. The meat come in two size portions on the dinner items including two sides and a bread. They have several sides to choose from.. collard greens were delicious, and the baked beans were really tasty. the Mac and cheese was really good too. they have dessert!!! very good banana pudding. I had the ribs and they were cooked perfect. the portion size is the beef regular plate was a perfect portion. hope you go two it this place. very clean, very nice servers. enjoy

We had an absolutely wonderful lunch today. The ribs, pulled pork and sides were spot on. Greens exactly the way greens should be. Sweet potato pie excellent and the pecan pie best I've ever had including my own! Had a wonderful chat with the owner and will be back! Have been in this building for many years as many different restaurants. This is the best yet!

Smells great. Friendly people and excellent BBQ. I particularly liked the ribs. Nice bite. I am always a fan of spicy and the Hot BBQ sauce didn’t disappoint. As a carnivore at heart I love the meat first but the collards were flavorful and not over chopped. I would have liked a little more vinegar in the coleslaw but sill good. The cornbread was moist but I appreciate it not being like cake. Still a good match as a side bread with the sauce and not too sweet.

I see why the reviews are so good. Haven't heard of this restaurant until I was in the area looking for dinner near me. Food was fantastic. Great portions. My order of Chicken came out steaming and smelling amazing. Chicken skin was crispy and delicious on the outside, and somehow it was still incredibly juicy and full of flavor on the inside. Fries are seasoned, crisp but soft. Sweet tea tasted like heaven. If you happen be in the area i say go here... and get some really good food!
