Shorty's Breakfast & Gourmet Deli

Not to hungry for dinner. So got the gruper and fries appetizer plus 3 shrimp blackened tacos and a mango drink. Wow. Food was great, tacos were the bomb and good sized. Yum. Gruper was super and fries really good. Amber was the waitress and very nice. She lives animal visitors too. The deck on the lagoon needs major love. Clearly the strip mall owner of the building does not care about his tenants. The building needs painting, the decks and walkways overdue for steam or pressure washing, doors and windows and frames on all small businesses are dirty and shot, the deck fans are all broken ....the place is run down but the businesses are good and trying hard. Landlord obviously does not have pride in his tenants and his own damn structures. Feel bad for Shorty's as they try hard. Food is really good though.

We love this charming convenient store So well stocked and a lovely collection of wine...the deli has the finest collection of lunch meat and cheese We also had a delicious meal by the bay. The ingredients in the entrees were so fresh, and the menu was extensive with creative options. Tammy, our server was amazing Please check Shorty's out.

We are locals and have frequented Shortys several times. Unfortunately we won’t be going back. We’ve had the WORST service from Amber. She is extremely rude, especially when she’s gets overwhelmed. She constantly tells diners when she’s not happy with other employees. It’s honestly a very uncomfortable atmosphere when she’s in one of her moods. I tried to reach out to the new owner with my concerns but she never called me back:/ That was months ago. I guess decent customer service is not a priority at this place.

I usually go to Maggie May’s next-door. Thought I would get in and out faster at Shortys thought I’d try them out this morning. I ended up ordering a bagel and a coffee I waited about 15 minutes and while I waited, I felt a little uneasy watching the guys that were doing the cooking. They were snickering and smirking at the guests and did not speak English and they didn’t look like they really cared about what they were doing to make a long story short a bagel that I got was disgusting and all day I’ve been running into the toilet so I’ll never be back to visit Shorty breakfast and stick with Maggie May. Thank you the quality is much better and the People behind the grill are not so questionable

We didn’t order food but hung out on the deck for a few hours. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming and the deck was plenty big for our large group and had the perfect vibe for hanging out. I bet the food is great too!

Breakfast on the water - life doesn’t get any better!

Diner style menu with everything you want. Western Omelette was fantastic and tho Amber was holding it down by herself due to a callout she stayed on top of everything and provided great service.

Quiet spot, Great View on the Water, Staff was super Friendly, Food tasted great and was brought out withing 15 minutes of ordering, when you go in the store walk thru and out the back down to the dining area.

Hidden gem! It’s tucked away in between two upscale restaurants. Walking into a gas station vibe however this place is not to be underestimated. Sitting outside with a beautiful scenic view of the water, jet skiers and clear blue skies. The food was fresh made to order and delicious. Our service was impeccable so definitely a 10/10!

shortys has a great view of the water from the deck. the food is excellent. i had the hot pastrami sandwich for $10. lots of meat. tasty. great view. wait staff attentive and polite. loved it.
