Smokey Bones Clearwater

We made a reservation for 6 people. Table was not ready when we arrived. Once seated, we advised the hostess after 15 minutes that we had not seen a server. After 25 minutes, we left, passing the people who had been seated just before us - they were half way through their meal! We had previously enjoyed the restaurant, so this was really disappointing.

We had a large group and were a little worried about how things would go, but Brittany absolutely crushed it! From the moment we walked in, her energy and professionalism set the tone for an amazing experience. She was attentive without being intrusive, kept drinks full, and handled every special request with a smile. Honestly, it felt like we had a personal concierge for the night. The food? Phenomenal. Every plate came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the wings were perfectly crispy, and the sides were just as impressive. You could tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. What really stood out was how Brittany managed our big group effortlessly—orders were spot-on, timing was perfect, and she made everyone feel welcome. That’s rare and deserves recognition. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and top-tier service, Smokey Bones is it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Brittany as your server, you’re in for a five-star experience!

Being from the Midwest and down here on vacation, I didn't know what to expect on wait times for restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised that we were seated right away. The wait staff was friendly and helpful on menu questions. The food was amazing! The drinks were very reasonably priced. Did I mention how good the food was? I will eat here again for in January when I visit again.

Came in for the first time today November 16th, 2024, and was served by a wonderful waitress by the name of Robin. She was amazing, checked on us what I feel was the perfect amount (not overbearing or ignoring us), and she made an amazing suggestion for food when my wife and I weren’t able to decide what we wanted. We had the Bone Fire meal, and it was superb. This is one BBQ restaurant that you do NOT want to miss. The staff was amazing as well, and management was pleasant to speak with too. I would recommend this establishment and rate it a 10/10 location.

Came in for the first time and they did NOT disappoint!! Definitely one of the best BBQ places I’ve been to in a hot minute! Robin was our server and she did such an amazing job with everything! Didn’t have to wait long for anything (drinks and food)
I recommend the BBQ nachos!

$60 for pick up. Brisket meal was a piece of meat that was the size of my fist of fat. But had some decent small slices. Shrimp & Grits came and there were no grits. Macaroni and cheese with boneless wings, worst Mac n cheese ever. No cheese. Small portions. I am sick I spent 60 to eat their take out. However the manager was very nice.

Food wasn’t hot. I got the bogo on the wings and loaded mashed potatoes with sour cream, and butter and onions. The whole dinner wasn’t hot at all. But was good. I had to heat up. I wasn’t happy at all.

Wonderful service by waitress. She gets 5+++ however, the guy who was seating people at front door ( host) appeared very hostile. Did not speak to us nor make eye contact. Appeared very angry. We almost left. Glad we stayed. Food great our waitress was great. She smiled and was friendly. If Mr. Host having a bad day he should go home. It started out meal off on wrong foot.

Have not been here in awhile, so while out running around yesterday, I wanted to grab a light lunch. I ordered a garden salad and chili. Calling it chili is misleading in my book, extremely watery and thin and no flavor, I couldn't even eat it.

This was our first time at Smokey Bones, and our waiter, Cody, was extraordinary. He was very attentive and friendly as he took care of our order(s). I will definitely be coming back here again, and the food was amazing!
