Guy was having a seizure. The manger told the guy not to call 911 and tried questioning a guy having a seizure instead of letting the guy call 911. Thank God he didn’t listen to her and called 911.

Lovely Starbucks with friendly attentive staff. We got take away. Normal Starbucks ambience but so sad that the whole leather couch, comfy chairs set up has changed. That was what set Starbucks apart from other coffee shops. Pity that. But service still good.

This location is starting to slip unfortunately. They are rarely open at their advertised starting time. And this morning, I could see 3 employees in the store after their opening time, but the door was locked. Finally one of the managers came to the door, and instead of being nice, they were very curt. “Um yeah, we won’t be opening until like 6:15, just an FYI” (Slams door shut)… when they finally opened, her attitude was just as nice behind the cash register…. The other two employees seemed to be in much better spirits… but she was giving them an attitude too. I assume she is the manager, which is a shame because I’m sure the morale is not great with her negative disposition. Hopefully she was just having a rough morning. I’ll adjust my review once things improve.

Really bad ice latte. No coffee taste. I asked for almond milk, payed for it and haven't taste the flavor also.
Place itself is smelly, and bathroom is awful, like it haven't been clean in ages. My last time here.

Senga is what every barista should aspire to be. Absolute gold and Starbucks is lucky to have her. I’m lucky to have been served by her.

They didn’t have any dark brew ready so she offered me a few samples of the medium roasts; taking the time to fully sip with me and to discover the nuances of the different brews together.

She then offered if I’d like to have a slow drip made and asked me to pick one of the dark varieties they had available. Again, fully going through the subtleties of each blend for me. Decided on the Verona and it was made to perfection.

Little things, like this type of interaction, really make the day of a customer coming on in for their morning perk. I had fun interacting with her and she definitely made my day. Would highly recommend this location.

This used to be a great Starbucks. I haven’t been here in years but my hubs went to grab a coffee after brunch and it took 30 plus minutes for them to get two iced coffees (one black and one with just cream).

The place was mostly empty but there were a number of drinks just waiting at the counter so it didn’t make sense why it took so long.

On top of that, the number of bums who just hang out here is uncomfortable. There were always a couple there, but now it was almost like they were living there. One was asleep there, several others just hanging out.

The bathrooms were DISGUSTING. There was poop smeared all over the toilet in the women’s restroom.

I will definitely not be using this Starbucks anymore. Bummer too because the decor and atmosphere with the covered and fenced porch was always a big draw. I used to go to just work from here. Now it seems no one cares about the space and are just allowing people to live there.

I guess if you are homeless and don’t care about keeping your space or body clean, but you want to be out of the heat and take a nap, this is your place!

And to be far, I have nothing against people who are down on their luck or need help. I know there is a food bank and church around that helps homeless, but when people come in and trash a place and don’t care to take care of themselves at all or the space they are in, I do not appreciate that. This has been a problem in this area for a while. As a woman, I would never be by myself in Coachman Park before the renovations because of the sheer number of people allowed to camp there with the city not enforcing any rules on them.

The city has been pouring money and construction on Cleveland street for over a decade but have not seemed to get the picture. They have forced a number of businesses to close with the long construction that has blocked them from traffic of any kind, or pushing businesses out for various city reasons and lack of handling/helping the homeless.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely NOT kid friendly based on the above. Couldn’t take my kid to the restroom.
