I didn’t have enough money on my card, and without hesitation, Evan covered my coffee. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture, especially on a holiday when most places were closed. My son used app to place order while he was inside my husband (and I) were outside waiting. My husband smokes and had a cigarette. Standing by our car smoking. One of the employees comes out side and tells him to put it out. There isn’t one sign saying no smoking on parking lot, yet there was a person vaping. We’ve been long time Starbucks customers but not after today. 20+ yrs of being a loyal customer ended today. You don’t want people smoking in parking lot then put up signs!
If management or corporate is pushing ridiculous expedite times, this is the result. Let your order takers handle orders and cashiers focus on cashing out. I know they’ve been down an espresso machine for several days. The wait is worth it when they have a chance to do it correctly. There’s been several times recently where they need to do both that has ended up with incorrect/forgotten items. This morning it took three transactions to get the four items ordered at the screen. Staff your store appropriately.
