It's actually slamburger now. The food is amazing. You cannot go wrong with the slamburger or the mother clucker. Please support this local business the food is amazing you won't regret it

Probably the best philly I’ve had anywhere around here. The quality of the meat used and the soft roll were phenomenal. Beer batter type fries topped it off. Extremely clean inside! Highly recommend this spot!

Having read the reviews I tried the Philly Cheese steak. I originally from Philly so most Cheese steaks are not even close or good outside of Philly. I give 2 thumbs up for this sandwich, the roll was soft, the meat was tasty and plentiful and they put ample cheese on and had hot cherry peppers as well. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone!

I will start off by saying the food is good, not great, but good. Pretty pricey ($15 for sandwich, fries, and a bottle of soda) but the portions are large, however they are VERY SLOW in making it, I ordered a Cuban sandwich with a side of fries and it took almost 20 minutes to get me my food and I was the only one in the place. I have a limited time for lunch and won't be going back if it takes that long to make my food.

$11.50 for a steak sub & nothing comes with it! Lettuce & tomatoes costs extra. I won’t be going back. Tastes ok but I’ve had better for less!

Enjoy the cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks! Had a Cuban once too and it was good as well! Only wish they'd put all the different things they can add to the sandwiches on the menu.(I've added banana peppers and mushrooms before which aren't shown as options)

I ate here several months ago, posted a bad review on his FB page which he removed and blocked me. After reading reviews on Google I don't believe many of those people ever ate there or know where the location is in Clearwater. If you look at some of the profiles of the google posters, they don't even live in the US. One of them has posted reviews of restaurants around the world, but some how stumbled on Steak out subs in Clearwater FL. When I read, best steak and cheese I ever had, it sends up a red flag to me, that the poster doesn't even know what a Philly Cheesesteak should taste like. I'm from Philly worked in a couple of Cheese steak restaurants in Philly and trust me this place is garbage. He whines about prices going up and wages going up, well so did ever other restaurants. For good Cheese steaks made by Philly people try Philly Joe's, Delco's or Ellies on Race Track rd Picture below is a 18" Pizza steak I enjoyed last weekend in South Jersey. It only cost $20.00 and it was very good. BTW Jersey is paying most of their help $15.00 an hr.
Me and my fiance went this weekend . And it was delicious! If you're looking for a really good steak and cheese this is the place.

A fantastic philly sandwich even without the bread as asked for. No debate. They were happy to comply, with out making it a big deal. Like so many places do.People were friendly and courteous. They were quick. It was hot and no weird taste from the meat.Yummy I'll be back.

Tried Steak Out for the 1st time and they were fantastic! I got a plain one and it was loaded with lots of steak and covered with plenty of cheese!! We ordered the large ones and have enough to take the other half for lunch tomorrow! Hubby got his all the way and loved it as well! We actually went in and they have a nice area if you want to eat there as well. We did take ours to go and will be back!!
