I originally wanted to get ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s but I spotted this cute ice cream parlor next to it and decided to support small business instead. I was not disappointed. I ordered the salted caramel with pralines and it has become my new go to spot in Clearwater. The ice cream is not tooth rotting sweet. It’s the perfect amount. The salted caramel flavor is so prominent, best I’ve had in a while. And the pralines, usually they get soggy in ice cream and lose the praline shell, but this ice cream was still perfectly fresh.
The brownie Gelato tasted a bit freezer burnt, the strawberry Gelato was ok but not the best tasting after a few bites. In the trash it went. The Boba tea was the worst I have ever had, the boba pearls were old and slimey, I watched them use coffee creamer in it instead of milk. My husband somehow drank it for me, but he is a coffee drinker so I guess it didn't bother him as much as me. My husband said his cookie dough ice cream was just ok, not the best ever but he ate his whole cone.Didn't try their taffy, maybe that is their saving grace? Also, no fries, hot dogs, and such for sell here as an old review states.Theres a reason there's never a line in this store. Definitely overpriced for what the products actually taste like. Also they had rows of cigarettes lined up behind the counter for sell. I guess the Gelato tastes better when you smoke at the same time.
