Happened to stumble upon this place. Saw a little sign saying waffles. Why not? To my surprise it was the best waffles I have ever tasted. The savory waffles are amazing. An omelette in a shape of a waffle. It came with a sweet and spicy syrup which complemented it amazingly. The sweet waffle was full of fruit and whipped cream no syrup needed. Amazing friendly staff. Very attentive and a pleasure to be there.

Just happened to stumble upon this place, and we couldn't have been happier. Amazing waffles, best I've ever had! Staff is friendly and the place is very cute and homey. We will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend Sylvia's if you're in the mood for a great breakfast.

I have eaten a fair amount of waffles in my days and I have to say these are the best I have ever had in my life. Such a different flavor compared to traditional mixes you buy at a store or even the ones you make from scratch in an america style. This is a must visit for those who are in the area and the owners are so friendly and nice. We had the chance to talk to them a bit and had a lovely chat. Oh and always listen to their suggestions on how to eat their waffles. Do not jump in thinking you are eating your run of the mill waffles, these are different/better. I highly suggest this place for the waffles!

Great service, great food. Our server said the waffles are so good that you may not need syrup. She was right! Definitely would go back and try a different combination of toppings. Great place to take house guests. Beachy vibe.

Lovely place. The staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining what the menu items are like and how the waffles are made. I didn't think I'd like to have so much whipped cream on my waffles but it was actually delicious. I really enjoyed my traditional Belgian waffle with fruits, Nutella, and whipped cream. I will definitely go back for some yummy waffles when I'm in the area.

The kind gentleman who works there was so friendly and helpful. He gave us an in-depth lesson about Belgian waffles and how their menu works. Incredible. Sam explained that their waffles are not typically served with syrup, they use whip cream and other toppings which enhance the actual taste of the waffle batter! A true tribute to Sylvia's heritage. You may also be able to find them at a local farmers market where you can expect the same fresh ingredients. They have an expansive menu from traditional Belgian waffles to your keto friendly gluten/ dairy free options. We got the tutti-fruitti & the Liege waffle with cookie butter and strawberries! So delicious and I highly recommend. Hope they come to FT MYERS

An absolutely charming and magnificent place to eat. My girlfriend and I drove past recently and said “oh my gosh, real Belgian waffles made by a real Belgian here in Clearwater! We need to go!” So, we went and were not disappointed. Sylvia and colleague came out to chat with us, share stories of Belgium, and how they are dealing with Covid and shenanigans. She also shared how you can find her on Saturdays at the market in St Pete near Al Lang Stadium. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. Well worth every penny. I can’t stop raving about this place and can’t believe such a gem lies here in the heart of Pinellas County!

Everything Waffles! The service was nice and informative. I went with the American which was very good and filling. They do have some other items on the menu that aren’t waffles such as salad and wraps. It would be nice to see maybe a few more breakfast options. Overall I had a great experience here.

Do you ever miss the small hometown feel of walking into a restaurant and being considered a real person rather than a buyer? This lovely and quaint room offers a friendly and cozy environment. The staff was more than friendly, making you feel more like family. They happily explain their belgian heritage and roots of their menu. The food was amazing. I'm gluten free and enjoyed a very lovely treat!!! Thank You for your amazing service. ??????

The service was good and the owner was nice. However, I went with someone that ate waffles, thinking I could maybe find a decent breakfast that was not waffles. I was unsuccessful. If you like waffles, they looked great and it looked like all the patrons that ordered this were very happy. I unfortunately, ordered the turkey wrap and it was terrible. I only ate one half because I was so hungry. Let me just say that they use American pre-sliced/packages cheese. Ugh! It was so gross. There are only a handful of items on the menu that are not waffles. So my advice is make sure you and your entire party are going to order the waffles. That was our mistake. Cheers!

Oh My God...THE BEST PLACE I HAVE FOUND IN FLORIDA!!!!I give it 5 stars times 5!Pure and simply the authentic Belgium waffle. Sylvia's serves everything freshly prepared. The fresh fruit overflows your plate...Kiwi, banana, strawberries, blueberries...all freshly cut. They serve REAL maple syrup and even give you the option of lactaid free whipped cream.I ordered orange juice and was asked if I wanted it " fresh squeezed"....that was a first, and it was amazing.Super friendly...and if it isn't busy, Sylvia will share stories of Belgium.So very quaint, very clean, and the best breakfast I've EVER had. Yet to try their other food...I just can't resist the Belgium waffle, but their menu has so much more.

This is my second time and is now my go to place to bring visitors from out of town. Trust Sylvia when she's says you don't need syrup on your waffle.
