Anytime I'm working in the area I know going to eat at Thai Basil. I have been to Thailand multiple times and still i prefer the food here. The staff is always respectful and friendly. Atmosphere is decent. Food is fantastic.

I would give it 5 stars for the food. The service was not good. They only had one server on, they only had 3 tables and it took her 15 min to get our drink order another 10 min to put our appetizer order in. One of my egg rolls had the string fried in it. The pho was good, except they were out of sprouts. The curry was very mild tasting, but wasn't bad.

The service is horrible, and the pad thai tastes like ketchup and noodles.

PROS:
Incredibly good Thai food (had Ginger Chicken and Orange Chicken, spring rolls and Basil Fried Rice).
Nice private booths.
Very reasonable prices
CONS:
Only 1 person taking orders, cooking, bringing out food, accepting payment. Not a fast food place.

I have had good food from here before but lately the quality has been not so good. Waited an hour for pick-up yesterday and everything was overcooked, chewy, and with little flavor. All for $50.

I've been coming here for almost 8 years.
It's my fav Thai place on the Pinellas side of the bridge. I really like the Tofu fried rice they get the tofu nice and crisp on the outside unlike a lot of other places.

The best spring rolls i have ever had in the US and the price is reasonable. The service is a little slow but worth the wait.

Really cute restaurant with happy and helpful employees. I got the cheese rolls and beef pho. Everything was great. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
Update-I had lunch here again yesterday and it was delicious. Every week day they have a complimentary item each dine in customer can get upon request. Friday you get a free veggie roll with raspberry sauce. It was hot, fresh, and crisp. I also got the chicken chili jam and loved every bite. Once again, the service was great. This place is fantastic, and I will be back time and time again!
