The food is excellent, one of the best restaurants in Clearwater. The atmosphere is professional but relaxed. I have made this a regular place to dine during the week.

Stopped in for a late dinner and drinks. The location is great, very safe area. Plenty of street parking after 6 PM- but during the daytime hours there is street parking using ParkMobile app. The food came out right away pretty tasty. The drinks were delicious, kudos to the bartender, he really knows what he’s doing - the Sazerac was exactly what I was looking for. Manager was such great energy, he gave me plenty of local recommendations and upcoming events. Truly wish I could’ve stayed longer, I would’ve been back to this restaurant several times. But my next trip down I’ll definitely be stopping in again.

Just had lunch and it was fantastic. The picture does not do justice but I highly recommend! The tallow fries are exactly what they should be, delicious!

We tried The Distric Bistro for the first time last night prior to a show at the Capitol Theater. The host was super sweet and got our table ready as soon as she could - seated us earlier than our reservation - and our server was attentive throughout the evening. Atmosphere here is very cosy and a nice vibe - be careful if you're seated at a booth because it's a big step up (for us short people. lol!). Bar was full, as was the rest of the room, but you could still have a conversation without shouting.
Drinks: I tried the Chocolate Raspberry martini that was on special. Disppointed with the lack of flavor from the raspberry liqueur (Chambord) and the rest of the drink tasted mostly like watered down espresso. Not the full flavor that I was craving.
Food: My steak sandwich was amazing! Fresh bread, steak medium rare and those onions...!! My husband had the special blackened chicken Alfredo - sauce was yummy, but he liked mine better. I didn't want fries so I asked about substitutions. The server said I could sub mashed potatoes ($6) with no upcharge. But I wondered why broccoli and some of the other $6 sides would be considered an upcharge seeing as they were the same price as the mashed potatoes? Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to offer a fresh veggie instead.
Desserts: We ordered the cheesecake and the banana chocolate cake. Flavorwise, they were really good, however they were so cold that the cheesecake was not creamy at all and the cake had a somewhat dried out texture because of the refrigeration. I don't know if there's another way to store them so they wouldn't be ice-cold right before serving, but it would help a lot. Overall, I would definitely come back! Thanks for giving us another option near the theater!

I can not say enough great things about The District Bistro. It was a terrific place to enjoy a meal before a show at the Capitol Theatre. Mary, our server, was attentive to our needs and very helpful in helping us choose our meal. I look forward to returning.

I love trying new restaurants, and aside from the really nice interior, this place unfortunately missed the mark for us.
My wife and I went on a Sunday night, and it wasn’t very busy. I ordered the $19 burger and upgraded to truffle fries for a $3 upcharge, which brought my meal to $22. The burger itself was very good. However, they forgot the truffle fries and ranch, and the fries came out about 10 minutes later. When they did arrive, it was a very small basket with exactly eight fries. For the price, the portion was disappointing, and I was still hungry after finishing my meal.
My wife ordered the chicken marsala. Her rice came out cold and had to be replaced. She said the chicken was okay, but we both found it surprising that the vegetable side was literally two tiny asparagus spears and two cherry tomatoes.
The bartender also wasn’t very attentive. We likely would have ordered more drinks, but he was mostly talking with the bar back. Unfortunately, we could clearly hear the bar back complaining about how much he hated the restaurant, which made things feel awkward.
Overall, the space looks great, but the service issues and small details really took away from the experience. We probably won’t be returning.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and personable servers. Nice atmosphere. The food was great and, given a concert night, was served timely and hot.

Food and service were excellent. Would definitely eat there again. Our reservation was for outside but it was extremely windy. They were happy to move us inside. Great atmosphere.
Burgers were amazing, cocktails very well made and our server was very helpful. However, there was live music that night but we were not told of it at the time of seating by the hostess, so that is the only reason I am giving 4 stars overall.
We took a chance on coming here as we are from out of town. Chose this restaurant because it was right across the street from the Capitol theater, that we were going to a concert that night. We both had different types of burgers. And they were delicious. Our server, Mary, was excellent. Friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable. The bistro is new and is simply beautiful. There was a group of young women learning and playing mah-jongg at the 2 tables in the front window, which only added to the ambience for us. Highly recommend.
Mac and cheese bites taste like jalapeño poppers. Kids Mac and cheese was my picky kid approved. Beef tallow fries are crispy and yummy. The burgers were all wonderful and our table had 3 different one. I recommend the French onion burger for the win. Chicken and waffles hot honey sauce was also great. The servers was super nice and very attentive. This is a great place if you ever get the chance. 5 stars across the board.

Happy to find this cute spot right in downtown Clearwater near the music venues. Was surprised to find free parking and enjoyed our appetizer, entrees, and dessert. Would definitely go back again. Love ved the blackened chicken Alfredo and District broccoli. Chocolate fondue dessert was tasty too
