Friendly, knowledgeable, and personable servers. Nice atmosphere. The food was great and, given a concert night, was served timely and hot.
Food and service were excellent. Would definitely eat there again. Our reservation was for outside but it was extremely windy. They were happy to move us inside. Great atmosphere.
Burgers were amazing, cocktails very well made and our server was very helpful. However, there was live music that night but we were not told of it at the time of seating by the hostess, so that is the only reason I am giving 4 stars overall.
We took a chance on coming here as we are from out of town. Chose this restaurant because it was right across the street from the Capitol theater, that we were going to a concert that night. We both had different types of burgers. And they were delicious. Our server, Mary, was excellent. Friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable. The bistro is new and is simply beautiful. There was a group of young women learning and playing mah-jongg at the 2 tables in the front window, which only added to the ambience for us. Highly recommend.
Valentines night ....nice table for 2 with fairly low noise.....great app (broccoli) , wedge salad could use more dressing but still tasty and NY strip & pork lion were outstanding ... Cocktails & service very good .. We will return & recommend
We had a beautiful view, scrumptious dinner, dessert and martinis. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere was romantic and since it was chilly outside, they even brought us blankets! Top notch for sure. Just be aware that the restaurant is in very close proximity to the Clearwater Sound, so if a concert is going on, you will hear it. We will definitely return.
Here's a balanced 3-star review you can post: --- 3 out of 5 Stars We went to District Bistro for a 5:00 PM Valentine's Day reservation and overall had a decent experience. Because of the holiday rush, we were seated outside. It started out fine, but as the evening went on it definitely got chilly. They had outdoor heaters, though most were positioned closer to the entrance where larger parties were seated. That said, they did bring us blankets, which was a really thoughtful touch and appreciated. Our server was top notch. Very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. No complaints there at all. The food was okay overall. One of the steaks came out more well done than the medium rare that was requested, and the mashed potatoes cooled off pretty quickly, likely because of the cold air. Nothing terrible, but not quite what we were hoping for on a special night out. We'll probably give it another try during the spring or summer when the weather is more forgiving and see how it compares.
The food is outstanding, and the owners are very accommodating. Open table however sat me outside for which I never requested, it became a problem that the owner quickly resolved, thank you! I will not be using open table again, I did end up calling myself anyway because open table didn't seem to be getting it done.
I was sold when I looked at the menu and saw that beef tallow is used instead of seed oils. Not only is it healthier for you, the taste is much better too. I ordered the steak bites appetizer medium rare, and the District Burger with cheddar cheese with a side of tallow fries. Ate the whole thing!
First time visiting, great food (shrimp was fresh and very tasty, as was the snapper dish), our server was also exceptional, and atmosphere was very comfortable and quiet. We were there early but it was def getting busier when we left. Will def be back to try the Calamari and one of their salmon dishes. Hazelnut dessert was also FANTASTIC!

We ate brunch there on Sunday! The food was great, service was superb and the cocktails were excellent. You must try the Asian Bloody Mary - it's has a sweet and savory combo. Loved it! Parking is in back with an entrance in front and back.
I have dined here for lunch and dinner several times. I heard they were starting brunch and I was excited to see their creations. It was the second weekend of serving brunch and the crab cake benedict was perfectly constructed. Especially, adding capers to the top for a nice finishing flavor. The crab cake exceeded my expectation for a crab cake outside the state of Maryland. It was just right size for the benedict. It didn't disappoint like other restaurants that have crab cake benedicts, which usually have too much breading. This one was spot on! Try the Bloody Maria. Nice touch using tequila instead of vodka. I personally didn't like all the ice, making the drink too cold for my personal taste. The ice doesn't vibe with me for a breakfast beverage. My top 3 bloody marys nation wide, don't use ice. It's okay for it to be room temp. Subtle flavor pop on the palate when the beverage is not freezing. The District Bistro is my dining go to for the seed oil free solution and quality sourcing. For those looking for healthy options for dining out as well as a quality crafted plate, The District Bistro is a must. Looking forward to seeing how they grow with their menu.
The lighting in the front and hallway of restaurant is way too bright and ruins the ambiance when sitting in the booths. The recessed lighting could also be dimmed. Like the restaurant a lot otherwise
My husband's salmon dish had cold rice. My short ribs were good but came with a measly 2 strands of asparagus and 2 small carrots. May not return again
Didn’t catch my servers name but he was great. Tall younger male, he was the bartender, server, host, helping cooks, etc. and was amazing. Grouper sandwich is great, the tartar was soooo good.
