I stumbled upon this rooftop situation and I must say it was a pleasure! Really tasty drinks, friendly staff, reasonably priced liquor, and the view of the bay was the icing on the cake!

This is the email we sent the “manager” Richard Rivera, and to date we did not get a response. Dear sir, I am writing you in reference to the extremely disrespectful treatment we got from trashy Tasha, the inept bartender that you employ on the Rooftop bar of the Vue 360 on Saturday, may 10th. Out of all the excellent fun bartenders in Tampa Bay area, you chose the nastiest one. Since the moment we walked in, she had a terrible attitude, did not want to accomodate a place for our cake until we literally begged her to. “I don’t have space in my fridge, take it to the 4th floor.” She said. Then she took forever to make us washed down drinks. We had to go to the bar to order food and drinks after we sat on the table for 45 mins without someone bothering to take our orders.
The place did not have a single server on a busy Saturday night, the food that we ordered was cold and rubbery like it was prepared the night before. If you intend to have this place only serve hotel guests, I suggest you remove it from google and other listings. We were a group of 10-15 young professional women who own and manage multimillion dollar local businesses and we were treated horrificly. We were not some drunk low class customers to be treated this way. Tasha lost it on us when we asked for empty water cups at the bar and reached out to take a couple (exactly two cups) from infront of her at the bar so we can cut the birthday cake OURSELVES since it was not served with any plates! She said these two cups are All I have left and you can’t take things like that!! She said “Y’all (y’all?!) are too much too much and im calling security to take you all out.” That’s when she called some teenager-looking person called Asher, half doozy with his shirt hanging out, who said he was the security/manager on duty. He said we have to leave because we were disrespectful to Tasha. Bcz we asked for empty plastic cups.
She ruined our friend’s Birthday and made us feel terrible after we ordered a lot of drinks and food. I asked her what her name was she did not give it to me but instead said that she’s calling the police. Bcz we asked for empty plastic cups.
We went down almost crying to get my Maybach from Valet, the valet guy was very kind and professional and offerred me a bottle of water to calm me down, which I politely declined. If you intend to run this place like a Motel 6, just let me know so we can take this to Marriott Corporate and see what they have to say. We will not set foot again in your “hotel”, so this is not about getting anything for free. Regards,

We recently attempted to make a birthday reservation for a group of 15 people at this restaurant. Over the phone, they assured us that they could accommodate our party as walk-ins. Unfortunately, that turned out to be far from the truth. Upon arriving, we found the place nearly empty. There were no waiters or other staff visible except for the bartender, whom I’ll refer to as T. We decided to order food at 9:15 PM, a full three hours before closing time. T’s initial response was shocking: “I’m not sure if the kitchen will take orders!” Seriously? It’s a restaurant, and we were well within their operating hours. Despite the lack of other customers, our food arrived a whopping 45 minutes later, and it was both cold and unappetizing. The drinks were equally disappointing. It felt like luck was not on our side that evening. When it came time for cake, we asked T for plates. Her response? “I don’t have any.” We suggested using plastic cups instead, but she claimed not to have enough of those either. It was as if she had forgotten to restock basic supplies. Frustrated, we resorted to using cups from the water pitcher. But the worst part was yet to come. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, T lost her temper. She threatened to call security and kick us out, accusing us of being disrespectful. It was baffling—there were hardly any other patrons, and we had made reasonable requests. Security (A…) arrived with an icy smile, backing up T’s unreasonable behavior. Apparently, we were too much trouble for them. It was a surreal experience, especially considering the near-empty restaurant. In summary, this place is not recommended. If you’re looking for a dining experience without pressure or multitasking, steer clear. And T, perhaps a refresher on customer service wouldn’t hurt.

I am staying long term at this hotel. The manager was very kind and gave me several 2 for 1 drink tickets to the Vue 360 bar. I had no other reason to come up to it, but regardless I was excited to try something new.I am a no frills person. Typically I enjoy 75 cent wings or 2$ beer across the street at coco’s or frenchys.The “service” the bartender gave us when my partner and I arrived at the bar was embarrassing. One other couple was there when we sat down. I said hello to the bar tender, received a look, and then she walked away. Eventually she walked over to us, put her elbows down and stared at us, expecting an order. Not saying a word. I explained that I had a coupon for a specific drink and that I was excited to try it, again, nothing from her.Ultimately the drink and the views were lovely. Thankfully another bartender came in to replace her and he at least said Hello.It’s not hard to see why this bar is consistently empty (or has been each time I’m there). The service is subpar for premade, 12-15$ “cocktails”. I appreciate the hotel staff very much for the coupons, but I ended up giving them away. I won’t be back.
