I feel that Publix has fresher, better quality meats. There's a reason they're known for their subs. Walmart subs are pre-made garbage. The employees are outgoing and helpful. Ready to help and get your goods for you. Unfortunately that really was the only plus side to using Walmart's deli over Publix deli. I guess I'd return if I was in a pinch. Its not like their meat is inedible, just not as good as Publix.
This Walmart has not aged well. I've been stopping in for random quick buys on the way home for the past couple of years now. The only thing is that quick buys are in short supply at this location. I've always had to wait in line to check-out, whether the dead of night or in the middle of the day. They have self-checkout lanes partitioned in the front of the store but they always seem to be closed off. I'm just as down on this place as ever I have been. I still feel like I need a bath every time I walk out of here, but it's almost like having a bad habit. You go, get your stuff cheaper than anywhere else, you hope you don't get robbed, and you go home. I had to pick up several odds and ends for my Dear Mother.
