NOT MEDITERRANEAN!! We came here for the first time Sunday and they were closed out for schedule. There was a sign at the door saying they had to close early. I should’ve read the signs from the universe and not been back. But because we moved to the area and wanted to try it since we love Mediterranean food and to support a local business came back today. There was only one other table leaving and done eating when we came. We had to ask the girl they have attending tables to take our order because she went on to clean tables instead of coming to take our order and we waited more than 5 mins for her. After she took our order, they took a long time to bring out food too. Which is appreciated because it at least was cooked to order. I ordered a chicken gyro, that looks absolutely nothing like the picture they have here or like any other gyro I have ever had in my life. No lettuce, no tomatoes, the tzatziki sauce?? I don’t know where they got it from but it doesn’t have any dill taste in it at all. It’s like Mayo mixed with oregano or I don’t know what spice but there is no hint of yogurt in it, like true Mediterranean tzatziki. The chicken in the gyro tasted like it was seasoned with cinnamon only. And the pita was hard….overall: Disgusting. I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites as you see in this picture. My husband ordered a mixed kebab plate. The meat was hard. Don’t know what type of meat it was, but it for sure was overcooked. The rice is some cheap Spanish rice (very dry) nothing near Mediterranean, which is usually basmati or some fragrant rice. They sprinkled paprika on it to camouflage the lack of flavor. I suggest changing the name and removing Mediterranean because you come with one idea and leave with a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!

First timer and I wasn’t disappointed! Thank you for flavorful dishes and service, keep up the great work!! Would definitely recommend it, if you are in the Clermont, FL area or you just want to take a drive and try something different, you will not be disappointed!! O yeah almost forgot, the Lebanese Baklava with pistachios was delish!!
The food was really good but my server wasn't really attentive. So the cook Juliana took over and helped me choose from the menu and served me. I didn't have to wait for too long for the food to be on my table. She had a smile on her face the whole time and was very patient.
I had an Amazing server Ingrid, and the food was prepared delicious by the cook looks very good and tasty. 100% recommend!

Extremely disappointed!! Lamb on gyros were very dry along with the chicken wrap which was so dried out I couldn’t eat it. The chicken soup was definitely not worth the money, there was some milk warm broth with 3 sliced carrots and some dark chicken pieces. I definitely will not go back and I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know. True waste of money!!
I just want to take a minute to say I appreciate the Service and care that Juliana just gave me. I made an order online and the restaurant was just closing for the day, rather than turn us away she decided to fire up the grills and make a rather large order for us making our night. The food was amazing and this kind of service is rare these days. I will go out of my way to eat here every chance I get!!! What a class act! The owner should be proud!

Placed an order over the phone, and the girl taking it sounded completely lost from the start. She was confused by very basic items that didn’t require any special instructions. Because she seemed unsure, I repeated the order multiple times just to make sure it was right.
When I arrived to pick it up, the place was completely empty, on a Friday night. That should’ve told me everything I needed to know. A man who seemed to be the owner walked in, didn’t acknowledge me or his staff, went straight to the back, then came out and sat down scrolling on his phone. No greeting, no thank you, nothing.
When I got home and opened the food, it was wrong and terrible. Everything tasted low-quality, like it had been sitting around for a while or reheated from earlier in the day. The meat was dry, the sides were bland, and nothing had the kind of flavor you’d expect for how overpriced it was.
I try to support local businesses whenever I can, but this kind of experience makes people stop taking that chance. When a locally owned restaurant serves bad food and shows no care for customers, it doesn’t just hurt them, it gives all the other small businesses in the area a bad name. Cedar Grill needs to step it up if they expect anyone to come back.
