The Jamaican cuisine at Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant offered a decent selection of traditional dishes but lacked the authentic bold flavors I was expecting. While the jerk chicken had a good balance of spices, some dishes fell short in capturing the essence of Jamaican cooking.

Ate here for the first time and were blown away by everything! The oxtail and goat curry along with the rice and vegetables were incredible. Portions are HUGE, the staff is very helpful and friendly in answering questions. This is a hidden gem that is worth the drive and the money. Amazing, amazing food.

This has not been the first time here. Love their meat pies. But sometimes I just can't resist getting a meal to go. Can't go wrong with the jerk, chicken or oxtail. Comes along with rice and a vegetable and the ladies there never skimp. A small is plenty big enough for two people. The flavor is absolutely fabulous so if you want something with a bit of spice stop and try. You will not go wrong.
The last time I ate at Golden Krust, the food tasted delicious. Now? I’m so disappointed. The recipes have changed drastically or could just be the location...We ended up having to throw our food away. Never again.Additionally, the employees were arguing in front of customers and being rude to us. Very unprofessional.

Food seemed like its been sitting there for awhile. Some were overly cooked/burnt and there were hair and other objects in the food. We threw away our food because who wants to eat food that has objects/hair in it...$50+ waste. (No, we don't wear jewelry nor do we have black hair). To make it worse, the ladies were extremely rude as other reviewers mentioned (rolling eyes, being impatient and snapping at customers)...we should've walked out when they did this to all the customers in front of us.Don't take it out on the customers, we didn't tell you to work here. It's such a disappointment because we were looking forward in eating good Caribbean food, but we wasted money instead.

I came in late, so they were out of the jerk chicken. Holy smokes, best oxtail I have eaten in about a decade. Rich and succulent. Literally falling off the bone. Seriously do yourself a favor and enjoy. I am only in town for the night. Certainly wish I coule come back and try the rest.
So far, they have not disappointed me. The food is pretty consistent. We normally order the oxtails and stewed chicken, which isdelicious!! I wish the cocobread was baked fresh. The bread I had tasted like it came pre-made. Other than that, they are my go-to spot when I don't feel like cooking but want something good and filling.

Probably the third time I’ve came in and was told they are out of food. It’s 5:55pm, which is dinner time, and the lady behind the counter told me to come in earlier to try to get food before they run out. Its 5:55pm! Last time I come here.
