Good for the food

Love the food. The best Indian food I've had on Florida, just so. You know, some Mother's and a chicken is dry or it's really tough. Mine was perfect. And it was wonderful to try different desserts. Excellent place definitely recommended and it's not all curry

The service is good and the wait staff attentive; however, the food is bland and lacks authentic flavors. We started with tandoori chicken, tasted like cumin chicken instead- but meat had the most flavor of anything else we ate. The sauces for all the main dishes were too thick and congealed and the meats in them were not even seasoned with salt. We had: chicken madras, mango lamb (lamb was very gamey), butter chicken, shrimp korma, lamb vindaloo, and chicken Bhuna. All to be prepared medium, no heat and no flavor. The garlic nan was thick but tasty and the paratha as doughy. Disappointed.

Food is incredibly bland, which is surprising when its supposed to be Indian, which is none to be one of the most flavorful kinds of food. If you dont like a lot of seasoning or flavor, im sure it tastes amazing. But honestly, its bland and not worth the money.

Guru Clermont is our absolute favorite place to go eat Indian cuisine OR order in. I travel extensively for work and everywhere I go I find a place to go eat Chicken Tikka Masala and I always end up telling Uday “Still not as good as yours!”. 10 plus years later I STILL haven’t found anyplace anywhere as good as his (one place in Hong Kong came close but Uday still gets the nod, his flavors are just amazing) If you are craving truly good authentic Indian food, I highly encourage you to check this place out, you will not be disappointed!

Every dish we've tried at Guru is fabulous. When we're craving Indian or Pakistani this the THE choice. They have the best food in the area.

It was a little convoluted for us to find it, but totally worth the effort. The samosas were delicious. Each one of us was completely satisfied with our meal. Our servings lamb korma, butter chicken, mango lamb, and chicken tiki were all so generous that we each took home enough for a yummy lunch the next day. And of course, there are many flavors of naan and wonderful mango lassis.

Their food used to be really good with the owner cooking. But the last two time I order for delivery the food doesn’t have the same taste anymore and the biryani rice is so mushy. I’m not sure If they have a new cook or not.

By far THE BEST vegan curry I’ve had ever! I highly recommend GURU …it is extremely hard to find good vegan food in Clermont and guru hits the spot ! :)

Very authentic looking restaurant. The food is fresh and has amazing taste. Personally the Butter Chicken is my favorite and the Chai tea!
