Guru Indian Restaurant

​I can honestly say that Guru Indian Restaurant is a true hidden gem. While the atmosphere is wonderful, the food was absolutely spectacular—hands down the best Indian cuisine I have experienced in the USA.
​But what truly elevated our evening was the honor of meeting the owner, Master Chef Uday Kadam. At 70 years old, his energy and passion for hospitality are palpable. Knowing his background—a decades-long career spanning top hotels and Disney—you can taste that level of mastery in every bite.
​Despite his incredible resume, Mr. Uday is remarkably humble. Seeing his vision come to life in this restaurant was deeply inspiring. I feel genuinely blessed to have met him. If you want spectacular food served with heart and soul, you must visit Guru.

Delicious food and really good service. Everything is great here, the naan bread is a must, and the butter chicken is their best dish in my opinion. 10/10 recommend

If you know, you know. This is the best Indian spot in the entire region. I love this place. Grab a mango lassi drink with a chicken tikka masala dish, an order of garlic onion naan bread, and the paneer cheese stuffed naan bread to dip.

Absolutely lovely place, hard to get to and everything else closed down around it, servers top notch as well as the owner. The food however was really bland, nothing seemed to have any taste even the garlic naan had very little taste such a shame

So good. Great people running/working here. Big portions, we split a meal. Get an appetizer and try multiple nans. It is all good.

Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect Guru has to offer - the food was amazing, the service was great, and the Chef walks around to wish everyone well! Easy to access, plenty of options, and staff was patient for all questions asked! 100/100

I usually dine in but tonight i placed a togo order, when i arrived someone greeted me at the door and opened it for me. A very kind gesture you don’t see often. I got my togo order within 30 seconds of being inside as well as being offered complimentary wine. All in all this place is worth the service and kindness alone. Food is always delicious

This place is a mixed bag. First off really the only Indian restaurants in the Clermont areas so think people give it a higher rating then it deserves. The food is just ok and the prices are really high. Today gave it another chance with doordash just to find a hair in my Tiki Marsala and that was really disgusting. I'm still giving 3 stars from other times where I are there and service sort of saved it from a lower rating.

Made from scratch Indian food that is absolutely delicious. Everything we ate was rated 5 stars by our party of 5. Dishes we ordered: both appetizer platters, Kada Paneer, Murgh Mughlai, Lentil soup and Garlic Naan, plus wine. The owners are welcoming and sweet. My daughter said every time she visits from Chicago, this is a must stop. We love it here.

Good for the food

Love the food. The best Indian food I've had on Florida, just so. You know, some Mother's and a chicken is dry or it's really tough. Mine was perfect. And it was wonderful to try different desserts. Excellent place definitely recommended and it's not all curry
