volunteers are polite but when trying to adopt a cat they are way over protective. don't fall for their trick on the application stating if you will let it in your fully enclosed backyard. They used this against mine and my husband's application to adopt, all the while making us contact our landlord back and fourth for 5 days when they apparently had already made their decission the day we initially tried to adopt and filled out the application. The lady asked us about that part of the application right then and there and we explained to them we would not allow them out at all if it were that big of an issue. Issue done and over with there. Should not have been brought up again. Certainly should not have been their sole reason for denying our application AFTER making us go back and fourth with the landlord to get written approval and proof of mortgage.

Roller coster of emotions trying to adopt with these people, I would love to hear their response to this because they had us run in circles for a week trying to get 'written approval' from our landlord even though it stated in the lease pets were fine. Once we got the approval through a lot of back and fourth they tell us they can't accept our application. Completely unacceptable and very rude. Cats are cute - employees are jerks.

Find a better cat caffe to go to - I don't recommend donating or adopting from these rude people. You would think they would understand that adopting a cat is a very emotional process and we would have appreciated a straight forward answer instead of them secretly hoping we wouldn't attempt to fetch the very difficult information they made us try and retrieve.

You made rejected two grown adults who were fully capable of loving and taking care of a beautiful cat. You should feel ashamed and that goes completely against the concept of rescuing cats. Hope you are happy with yourselves for wasting our time, love, and good energy.

God awful people run this place. Cute cats, awful people.

Took my children here for a relaxing afternoon before we flew home to the UK. Really lovely pleasant staff and my kids had a blast interacting and playing with the cats. A really great end to our holiday. Can't comment on the food as we had already eaten but the cafe smelled delicious. Will make this a stop on out next visit.

Cat lady heaven! LoL! I really enjoyed visiting the Cat Cafe. The coffee and pastries were delicious and it's fantastic knowing that it supports a terrific animal shelter.

When we first arrived, I was so excited, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Walking in to see all of the cats was such a wonderful experience. I brought my 13-month-old, and he was absolutely delighted. He smiled, laughed, crawled and was petting the cats, which made the visit even more special for us as a family with how happy he was .

Unfortunately, the experience changed when an employee said “I know it’s not in your control but if you can please keep him quiet.” My baby wasn’t upset , crying he was simply expressing excitement and joy. That comment left me feeling uncomfortable and ultimately it ruined what should have been a happy memory.

I then decided to leave and I left in tears because my family’s experience was overshadowed by that moment. If young children aren’t truly welcomed to express themselves naturally in the cat room space , it may be best to reconsider allowing them into the cat area, as the expectations felt unfair. What did she want me to do ? Hold my hand to his mouth and keep him quiet ? He was happy.

They did offer a refund because we only got to be there 30min out of the hour experience, but it was not about the refund it was about our experience being ruined .

So I'm a sucker for cats and unfortunately I'm not allowed to have cats as of right now, so when I found a cat cafe near me, I said screw it I'm going. Id love to have adopted some of these beautiful babies but I just can't. It's sad to hear some of their back stories but most of them were absolutely adorable and playful. One of the black kittens farted on me and then ran😭. Their was one older cat I kept trying to pet but unfortunately they were just recently surrounded and wanted absolutely nothing to do with anyone.

The cafe itself is adorable, the drinks are alright but oh my gosh the food looked so good, if I didn't come their at 5pm I would have grabbed some food. Unfortunately you only got an hour with the cats so I didn't even remember my drink😭.

Id 10/10 recommend if you wanna chill and relax but unfortunately you're never alone, you don't seem to fully get 1 on 1 time with the cats which sucks but understandable Orlando is a busy place. Support the cafe though! They got cute pins and stickers.

Here's some pictures and videos of the fur babies!

A pleasant place both for the café area and the space set aside for cats. One hour to play with the cats and, for those interested, the possibility of adopting them :)
Very clean and very friendly staff.

Omg I love this cafe. They have unique merchandise, staff is super nice, and food is great. The cats are all separated from cafe, they have such a loving environment for you to interact with the cats, you can tell they take good care of them. I WILL be returning! Highly recommend !

My rating is based off of my personal experience with adopting. I don’t blame the volunteers at all. I’m leaving this review to hopefully get management to fix whatever went wrong here to stop this from happening in the future. We put in an application for a cat that had been there for a while, sweetest baby we love her. After we put in the application we waited a few days to hear anything back and we didn’t so we called. After a lot of back and forth with them and our leasing office we finally scheduled a day to pick her up. They go over some of her records with us, everything looks fine from what they read to us. We get home and settled so I sat to read through all her paperwork. On the front page it says that she was on medications? Which was never mentioned when we went over her paperwork, I didn’t see it while we were there or I would’ve asked what that was about since we went through the paperwork fairly quick. I notice that it says she had an ear infection, but it wasn’t clear whether or not it was treated. I wanted to take her to a vet to get a check up on her anyways so this gave me another reason to. We go to the vet and find out, yes she has an ear infection in both ears with one side being worse than the other. The doctor also shows us how dirty her ears were that the swabs came out black and also noticed the same weird information about the ear infection she had on the paperwork that was given to us. She said it was interesting that it says she had one but that there was nothing confirming it was ever treated or if it ever went away. So now I’m wondering has she just had an ear infection for months? She was there a long time, did she not get a check up after getting to the cafe at all? She could have just been there suffering the whole time? Also if you’re going to charge 100$ for the adoption fee there’s no check up before you send them home even when people may have other pets? That should definitely be disclosed. So on top of the adoption fee, we also paid the vet another 150$ for treatment. Really disheartening and disappointing because I really did love this place and recommended it to so many people but now I’ll be telling them about my experience.
