I had an awesome experience at The Crooked Spoon in Groveland! The lobster grilled cheese was absolutely delicious rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The yuca fries were amazing, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a perfect complement to the meal. The service was excellent from start to finish attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

The crooked spoon was delicious! The chips with the balsamic glaze and blue cheese. The Jackson burger. Ah, amazing. And the service is always great. Looking forward to brunch this weekend.
The food was very good. We'll return here for sure. I'd highly recommend checking it out.

To mimic a few of the other reviews on here, I have to say that the food is good, but the service is bad. I have been here twice and had similar experiences both times. The first time the server was attentive but rude, the second time the server wasn’t per se rude, just didn’t ever come to the table. She took our order and that was the last time we saw her until she brought the check at the very end. There were no other minorities at the restaurant except our table and no minorities as employees. I would hate to say that that’s the reason, but based on some of the other reviews, you never know. I do know by watching her. She was much more attentive to other tables and smaller parties (we had 3, the other had 2). The restaurant was not busy. I would say at 50% capacity so that’s not an excuse although our servers coworker tried to make that the excuse. Who I thought was the manager walked around with a clueless expression on his face, not doing anything, so he was no help. If you want good food and bad service, eat inside. If you want good food and not to deal with the headaches of poor service take your food to go.
