This was a great place: unfortunately, when I returned about 6 months ago (or longer), it had been permanently closed. I was disappointed :(

This is a great local place for food and bev. They always have something going on. From bingo, to bands, karaoke to trivia nights. It's a lovely neighborhood bar where everyone is always super friendly. They have an English/Irish market now attached to the restaurant where we picked up meat pies - AMAZING. This is by far THE BEST place to get fish and chips in the area. They also have a wonderful variety of common and specialty beers on tap. We love this place and go here all the time.

My 90 year old mother and oldest brother are from the UK so we are always in the eternal
Hunt for the next best fish-n-chips and Friar Tuck did not disappoint! The service was great, the food was hot and not over cooked. We had two full portions and one half portion of the fish and one stew. The onion rings were great! The only disappointment was the ā€œspotted dickā€ pudding as it was clearly out of a can and not enjoyable. We also bought bacon, pies, and sausage to go and they have been fantastic!

Very good British pub. Plenty of seating and the food was great. Fish and chips and Beans on toast didn't disappoint. The sausage roll was my wife's favorite.

Last night we went to get some dinner and listen to the songwriters’ open mic at the Friar Tuck. Let me tell you—the food was fantastic (and I am a picky foodie)! My husband’s steak pie was incredible with tender meat, savory gravy, and flaky pastry. My fish and chips were also delicious, the fish very fresh and crispy, in a tempura batter. The wings in their house Sherwood sauce (green Tabasco/butter) were so crispy and yummy, with just a bit of heat. Lots of beers on tap and even Blake’s hard cider! The open mic was unexpectedly good too. It’s 30 minutes from us here in Winter Garden but we’re šŸ’Æ coming back!
