Near place with an awesome atmosphere. The food was great and we definitely be back again. I got the Corned Beef Hash and my Wife got the Beef and Mushroom Pie and both were really tasty. The hash browns were really crispy and felt like they were deep fried instead of grilled which made them all crispy. Beef in the pie was very tender and the gravy inside was fantastic. This one was my favorite of the two. Bread pudding with custard was really good too! Can't wait to come try some other things

This place has awesome British dishes. I had bangers and mash with mushy peas while others with me had fish and chips. The portions were very generous and delicious! In addition, they have a little shop where you can purchase bangers and other imported groceries. Lovely staff

Being an ex Pat I am always looking for good fish n chips throughout the USA. Look no further! The Friar Tuck in Clermont, Florida is a British owned and run establishment. Cod and chips rates right at the top, most authentic. It’s tasty, piping hot, succulent batter, and excellent service. We had enough fish to take home for another meal with fresh fries.

Friar Tuck offers the most credible fish and chips in the area. Friendly wait staff. Great British menu. HUGE portions. The small store stocked with UK staples like IRN-BRU, Turkish Delight and Waverly crisps is very nostalgic for me. A favorite place to visit with friends.I most recently visited in April, 2023, but I have eaten here three or four times in the past. Always high quality.

What a fantastic place!! Dave, our server, was wonderful and very funny!! The food, OMG, it was to die for....Hubby got Bangers and Mashed, I got Steak and Mushroom pie, many at our table got the Fish and Chips. The Fish was think and huge!! the Chips were homemade french fries. Desserts were so delicious.... Highly recommend!!! We are definitely going again...Our new favorite restaurant in Clermont!

We had a great experience at The Friar Tuck. My wife is from the British Isles so we decided to try it out. Food is absolutely legit. Great selection of beers. Our server Dave was extremely helpful and welcoming. Bonus, he’s from England. After dinner we bought some British food from the store side of the business. We will be back.

This place serves delicious food. Some is traditionally British, but most is what Americans like to think of as British. However that doesn’t detract from the quality and taste of the food. The main problem is getting a seat, it is so popular. Their Sunday roast is excellent. You will return, once you’ve eaten here.

Let me start by saying I used to like this place. Portions are plentiful and it is authentic PROPER English food. Ok, now the problem. Being St. Patricks Day 2023 I phoned for reservations a few days in advance. Once checking in it took ..... abut 12 minutes to be seated. We sat for and i timed it 23 minutes before i got up to ask the bar tender if we could get some drinks. I was told he would have tossed a waitress. Another 8 minutes pass and the server asked if we ready to order. We put in our drink and dinner order on at the same time. 8 minutes more goes by and we get our drinks. About 50 more minutes goes by and we are getting up to level when the server comes and asks us what we ordered. We were then told they were out of the food we wanted. So, she recommended a substitute. After all this time has passed we said "NO THANK YOU !" She turned to walk away and then turned back and said we will not charge you for your 2 sodas and a beer. I thanked her and mumbled under my breath "I had no intention on paying for them anyway". Meanwhile, my Feince' was facing into the kitchen and saw the staff just leisurely hanging out. No care in the world. Our thought is this server NEVER put our order in. She said it took so long for the initial contact because shaded not see us. Really, the place was nowhere near capacity. It was a normal Friday night in any other sit down restaurant. I told the woman greeter and all she said is "THAT IS TERRIBLE" !!! No, let me make this up to you are do you want to speak to the owner. NO NOTHING !!!! Scary for them because although I live an hour away ..... I'm still a local. That being said It was 2 hours on the road just to go to their establishment. We were ignored and forgotten. The server never even came back to refresh our drinks. HELL will have 10 feet of snow in it before i return. Be assured I will let anyone who will listen about this story.

The food was amazing. My husband said that it was the best fish sandwich he ever had and my fish and chips were amazing and they have a nice little shop in there. You could go buy yourself some goodies. The staff was very nice. We will definitely be going back. I can’t wait to try the bangers and mash ?

I would never take my family to this place again. The manager Amy is rude and unhelpful. She was not interested in dealing my problem, absolutely no customer service skills

Went for the traditional British Sunday lunch of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding . Food was very good and the Yorkshire puddings were excellent! Do ask for the gravy as a side if you are not used to having it over your meat .

Love this place! Friendly staff. Lots of authentic dishes but we have trouble not ordering the fish 'n chips. It's huge and delicious. They have lots of activities in the evening, but we generally go during lunch.

What a great place--we felt good as soon as we heard the host's accent and even better when we were greeted by our English waiter. The menu is stock full of traditional British pub fare from the expected fish and chips and Bangers and Mash to the less expected Pastys and Pies. As our daughter lives in the area we have already told her we plan to stop back here on our next visit. We loved ALL the employees, the decor, and the vibe!
