Common Grounds Coffee Shop

We went here for brekkie. The tables and floor were very clean. The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent. I had a veggie omelet that was exceptional because it had olives in it. Very nice atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this cafe.

Was on the way back to Fort Lauderdale and was looking for a breakfast spot, unbeknownst to me, breakfast was over but our server mentioned a breakfast sandwich on the lunch menu! She was a terrific server. The small place was getting busy with a possible local lunch crowd. I will definitely be back when enroute leaving Fort Lauderdale. Thank you for the great service and great food!

Parking: We parked on Bond Street but apparently there is a small strip mall that you can park in and walk around to.

20 minutes to get two medium hot lattes to go, that by the time they were ready, were served cold. They have one tiny latte machine you could buy at Walmart. It was one girl working behind the counter and two waitresses. All were stressed out. The girl behind the counter started making my latte. Every time someone checked in or out, she stopped and took care of them. This includes spending time with them resolving issues. Twenty minutes is no exaggeration. I’m not blaming her, but I am this establishment, the owners, and the lack of resources and process these employees need to do their job. If you’re a local yocal, and like hanging out in this place, more power to you. If you’re passing through and on a schedule, avoid this place like the plague.

Started eating breakfast here every Monday and I just can’t get over how good their grits are, and the sausage and bacon and of course the coffee and their croissant is good also! Workers are friendly and service is decent.

Had a delicious omelette there today. The coffee was great too. Great meeting place, perfect eating place!

The service was amazing. Our waitress was great, super kind. Cheese Danish was amazing, and adding butter to the crosaint part of the Danish as suggested by our waitress was a great tip. We had the mac and chili soup and a non-traditional cuban. Definitely will return . Next time, we will make it out for breakfast.

Must make this a stop if going through Clewiston! It's a charming cafe that serves sandwiches and soups. They have a variety of coffee options. We were on the fence about which coffee to get and were able to sample a couple first. We have been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed! The employees are always friendly and helpful. Has a small town, welcoming vibe. Great coffee! The muffins looked tasty, but we didn't try them, maybe next time!
