Enjoyed a very good meal with the locals while visiting the area for bass fishing the Big O. If you are in the area and looking for a good meal with good people, go to the Elks Lodge. You do not have to be a member to eat, the public is welcome!
Great place to spend a Friday or Saturday evening. Great food at a reasonable price. Fridays rotate between fried chicken, ribs, pork steak and chicken wings. These meal are served with sides and water or tea for $12. Saturday is steak night, great thick cut that you season yourself and send out to the grill. Served with baked potato garlic bread and a salad. You'll not spend $20 for a meal any better. Monies raised support the charitable mission if the lodge.
