I've been to this Ale House a few times. This time we went for lunch. It really seems like it's on the decline. It seemed run down. The service was poor. For the four of us, the check was over $140. I normally really enjoy going to the Ale House. Not this time.Parking: Location has good parking.

The food was very good and fresh and hot. The service, not so much. It took a bit to get our drink order and I saw another table flagging down someone for their check but thought nothing of it. When we got our drinks we ordered our dinner and drinks went empty before the food came out. I didn't mind waiting for the food because it was hot and fresh. Our server checked on us about half way through and asked if we wanted more drinks. We said yes and I asked for water as well. She said "I'll bring water for the both of you" about 10 minutes later she brought my husband his beer and had 2 glasses of water. She set down the beer and proceeded to walk away with both glasses of water. She came back about 5 minutes late and asked if she could get us anything else. I said no thank you we've been on the road all day to get here and just want to get to our hotel. TEN minutes later she comes back again and asks the same question. I replied the same and she asked if we wanted our check. After getting our check she was very attentive as we paid. Maybe next time we'll get it to go?

We are staying at a nearby hotel and this restaurant is within walking distance. We ate lunch here earlier today and service was great, food was alright... came back this evening and Waited 15 minutes for a server and they asked have we been helped yet. Ordered cocktails that were nasty. Chips were stale, had to hunt down the server again to get a check. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the service and quality of food/drinks. DON'T waste your money on this place.

Much more rundown than it looks online. We called ahead for a party of about 16. And by ahead I mean DAYS ahead. Still had a brand new server who just kept saying she was new to any hiccup... 3 people from our party didn't even have their orders put in, "computer glitch" ? ? took a rather long time for food to come out.There was another really loud table, but that isn't so much the restaurants fault.This is really more of a bar that serves food... not to mention it was a Friday evening and there were very few people there... maybe it's more of a later spot.I ordered wings and wanted them crispy but extra wet; I get this at places all the time...... these were fried to shoe leather and very little sauce... I ate them and didn't complain; I feel like the staff has enough stress.We won't be going back. We weren't impressed with the standard bar microwave or fried food options with quality to match.Only thing I'd suggest is the pretzel with beer cheese. That was actually pretty good.

I came here with my family, the service was really bad, it took more than 55 minutes even though it was almost empty. I ordered the meat medium well, and they brought it burnt, (2 dishes lost), and to finish, the guy missed a order. awful. I WOULD NEVER RETURN HERE even if it was the only restaurant open.

In town for a cruise and this place is right beside our hotel. I didn't have to get in the car and drive somewhere. The food and staff are amazing would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Wow folks, it's an Ale House, not finedining in Manhattan. I found it to be agood atmosphere,with very tasty food, and really attentive servers. Mushroom swiss burger was best I've had anywhere, and my partner said the tacos were delicious.
