Cocoa Beach Fish Camp

Ate here after checking out the pier. Sat at the outside bar and the waitress was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the fried pickles and tried gumbo for first time and was sooo goood!! Tasted fresh and homemade. Was a bit pricey but worth it. Great place with chill vibes.

Erica and Kayleen are the real MVPs. This place is incredible!!! First time in cocoa beach and we keep going back multiple times daily. Specials and food are amazing. Cannot say enough about how wonderful it is!!

Unique decor. Friendly patrons and staff. Only negative was volume of music and trivial questions if you wanted to converse with others.

Waited a LONG time before getting a menu. Then waited a LONG time for our order to be taken and the food to come out. When it did it was very good. We split a rack of ribs, Jambalaya, and fish sandwiches. All well prepared and flavorful. Entertainment (dueling pianos) was quite good. After waiting for the next sighting of our waitress (AlexJ?) we decided to skip dessert and just ask for the check. Nice place, but understaffed.

Fish and chips - fish was really good. Fries overdone(brown).
Shrimp and grits were a bit disappointing. Sauce was thick, andouille were tiny pieces and the grits were warm, not hot. Hushpuppies had to be remade because they were so hard couldn't eat ..then when they remade them, they were not done in the middle.
Wouldn't recommend.

Great experience! Another lunch solo outing. Had the Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad w/ Side of Red Beans & Rice. Chicken had a great taste and moist. Red Beans and Rice were out of this world great with flavor. I did mention to the bartender that I previously owned a Cajun restaurant in Atlanta and the flavor surpassed mine. I will say that I did like the way my recipe has a combo of puréed beans with whole beans vs all whole beans. Only reason for 4 stars - the red bean and rice SCREAMED for a bit more andouille. But all in all, would and will go back again. Great hostess and barkeep.

SUPER long wait to be seated, an hour after ordering to get the food. Food is good but I’m not sure it’s worth a 2 1/2 hr wait
