We used to frequent this place when we lived beachside. This was our first time back in a couple years. Service was great until my steak came out medium rare ( asked for medium) it was apparent the chef didn't like that I sent it back. After that service was cold. The chef came out but only acknowledged his regular customers although there were only 3 tables occupied. I felt we were not wanted after spending $200+ on dinner. We won't return.

A top notch experience from start to finish. Greeted by the chef at the front door. Knowledgeable and attentive service. Varied menu and drink selections. Phenomenal food, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented.

Lovely and cozy venue. The food was very good. We started with the meatball appetizer and the sauce was especially good. My partner had the steak and enjoyed it and the chef accommodated her dairy allergy nicely. I had the tuna and it was well prepared and the vinaigrette sauce was a pleasant addition. Portion sizes were spot on and not overwhelming. The service was very good and friendly to us as travelers. Quite a few locals in attendance and they didn't play favorites. There was a rather loud couple at the bar who insisted on conversing with the chef - who has a view to the dining room - it was annoying at times with the volume of the back and forth, but quite pleasant after they left, even with two parties of four seated near us. Would recommend highly - nice venue, interesting menu, good food and excellent service.

We had Sunday Brunch at Flavour Kitchen. As usual, it was outstanding. The service is always awesome and the food is both creative and tasty. We highly recommend Flavour Kitchen. The food is awesome but brunch also includes free bottomless mimosas.

Had brunch there on a Sunday. Had the potato has w steak tips, sausage, w cheese omelet over top w a to die for tomato vinaigrette ( which just calling it that does not do justice). Met chef Jason... super nice guy... took time outta cooking to just chat and share some tips and recipes... will def be back when in town

Another amazing meal! Chef Jason does not disappoint. Husband had salmon special which was out of this world and I had the short ribs which are always to die for! Meatballs for appetizer which were delicious. Never a bad meal! And as a finisher the banana bread pudding with cashew ice cream-no words to describe but will be dreaming about if for a long time.

Walked in about 30 minutes of closing. Was told the kitchen was closed. I asked, aren't you open until 3:00? The guy said no and then told me not to be like that. Good way to never get my business. Thanks!

Flavor Kitchen is. Chef Jason and we wouldn't want it any other way. From reviewing each and every reservation to making sure his patrons are satisfied with their food and the service, he has it all covered to ensure a great experience. His ability to manage the kitchen and converse with everyone in the restaurant makes Flavor Kitchen the wonderful experience it always is.

Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this donning experience- if you follow me you know we are adventurous at all levels and this was truly one of my favorites - literally the best soup I’ve ever had (onion with bone marrow) - the bacon can’t be passed up - the scallops were on point - steak was great !!

Jason (owner/chef) , Mary Ann, Dominic and James - amazing crew

Great experience and well worth it

The experience was amazing! We had reservations on Christmas where they had a specific Christmas menu. The options were fantastic! The food was superb! The chef came by and sat with us for a while which was appreciated and unexpected. The bread pudding dressing was amazing so he had some extra boxed up for us! The restaurant serves a sophisticated palate and ambience with down to earth service! Bravo!

It was so dark in there we couldn’t see the menus. I used my phone to illuminate the options. When we arrived we were told that they had no snapper or flatbreads which is actually what we came for. Rather disappointing. Then when the food came it desperately needed salt. When we asked we were told there are no salt or pepper shakers in the restaurant. How presumptuous and ridiculous. Then he brought me a tiny little container with the tiniest amount of salt. We had to ask for more repeatedly.
My poor son in law had a meal that had a terrible chemical taste and so did the creamed corn we ordered. Definitely not worth the money we spent.
I would not return.
Spent an awful lot of money for some mediocre food at very best and some was just plain disgusting. It’s a shame they didn’t care enough to do something like switch the side dish for us. The chemical taste got in everything on the plate.
My first and last trip to this place

I spent $52 on their Christmas Eve pork chop special, which came with a yellow lentil blend that was completely inedible. The lentils tasted rancid—so much so that the only way I can describe it is as if some kind of chemical contamination occurred. I’ve dined here several times before and always had five-star experiences, which makes this incident even more disappointing and has honestly shaken my confidence in the restaurant.

To be sure it wasn’t just my palate, I had both my fiancĆ©e and my mother-in-law taste it, and they immediately agreed that the flavor was horrendous. In total, I spent $175 on our meal, and it ended up being the worst dining experience I’ve ever had here.

What made it worse was the response. The waiter returned and told us, ā€œThe chef said he knows for a fact no chemicals fell into the lentils.ā€ Regardless of what the cause was, the dish was clearly bad and should never have been served. I would strongly encourage the chef to taste that batch himself.

I expected far better from a place that has consistently delivered excellent food in the past. This experience was deeply disappointing, especially on Christmas Eve.
