Nice venue, solid wine list and our meals were superb. Wife has the pan fried pompano and I had triple tail (it's a lot like grouper). Both were excellent. Started with the shrimp appetizer (Jumbo in a Sambuca sauce) that were very nice. Also had the green beans with dinner and thoroughly enjoyed them too. Overall great experience and excellent service. We'll be back.
The Pompano Grill is truly a hidden gem nestled in Cocoa Beach. It was our first time visiting, but it won't be our last! They prepared generous portions of delectable, flavorful meals. I had the short rib and my partner had the blackened pompano with jambalaya risotto. Angelica took great care to make sure we had a pleasant dining experience. Thank you!
While the food was excellent the way our server went about trying to upsell us and purposefully not inform us of prices left a terrible taste in our mouths. For example, the surf and turf skewers on menu were around $35 the special was also a surf and turf so we decided to do 2 of those expecting that they would be around $70 each, however our server did not inform us of pricing nor that this meal COULD HAVE BEEN EASILY SPLIT. Therefore when we received our bill expecting around $250 and finding out the surf and turf SPECIAL WAS $125 EACH we were shocked. Our bill ended up being around $400. The lack of information and scamminess of our sever made us feel like he was in it for a quick buck. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK EHRE.
My husband thought he ordered the surf and turf skewers but was served a strip steak, 3 shrimps, mashed potatoes and asparagus. We didn't check the itemized bill until we returned home. We were charged $124.00 for this meal which came as a shock. I have never been charged that much for a strip steak and I have been to many steak houses over the years. That was the only unpleasant experience.
The service was excellent. Austin was so committed that we thought he was the owner. We had the crusted tuna, wedge salad and the catch of the day which was the triple tail fish. We also got a side of the crab risotto, that was served with another special of the day, but they were kind enough to give us a side of it. The entire experience was elevated and the food presentation, presentation and flavors were top notch exclamation highly recommend!
Fabulous food and service! Escargot, filet, and Brussels sprouts were exceptional! Only downside was the noise. VERY LOUD for a small, intimate venue. Table of 4 who clearly over indulged were obnoxiously loud and foul-mouthed making it difficult to even have a conversation. It was otherwise a perfect dinner! Overall outstanding! We would highly recommend!
We had our New Year's Eve dinner at Pompano Grill. We had the Snapper and Wasabi Panko crusted tuna. The servings were very generous as well a delicious and well presented. Service was very attentive and surprisingly quick.
Food was excellent! Was hoping for a martini but tried one of their wine drinks and it was good!
Loved the food! Sat outside next to The fire pit and there were 4 of us. We started with millionaires bacon. Differential from the ones in San Francisco! We had a bottle Of very nice red, from Argentina, Malbec, That paired very well with every dish. Dessert was split with each couple, crème brûlée! Met the chef, Ricardo, and knew he was a man of great talent when it comes to cooking! Hidden gem in Cocoa Beach! We rolled out of there to walk around and walk some of it off. Was amazing! Will return as the menu was worth it and he changed it up.
Pompano Grill came highly recommended. The restaurant itself is a little plain. Has several tables both in the restaurant and outside. We brought our own wine and there is a $25 corkage fee that is acceptable. We started out with the meatballs in a pink vodka sauce with mozzarella. Very good and we enjoyed all 3 meatballs with the accompanied bread. My wife had the shrimp (3) and sea scallops (2), and they were cooked perfectly and she enjoyed hem very much. They were also very large. I had the American Wagyu NY strip steak. It was excellent even though I asked for it rare and it came out medium. The marbling of the steak was good that even coming out medium was satisfactory to me, and I didn't want to complain. Our waiter Austin was probably the best thing about the place as he explained all the specials and offerings. The dessert menu was just OK and nothing stood out so we went sans dessert. We had informed the restaurant when making the reservation that it was my birthday, and they had a birthday card ready at our table when we came in. All in all, we enjoyed the food here and I would recommend the Pompano Grill, but bring a big wallet/purse, especially if you order the American Wagyu steak!!!

Amazing food, fab service by Matt and rest of team. It was busy and at times a bit loud but that’s the sign of a great small restaurant. Food was so tremendous, seafood PERFECTLY cooked. The baked brie was lovely, those spiced pecans are too die for! Excellent shrimp, scallops and the lobster in the sauce was butter poached and melt in your mouth! Too full for dessert this time but we’ll be back! Oh and Sangria was a spiced orange treat.

Amazing food and service!! Scallops were to die for and I have never has such perfectly cooked lobster or asparagus.
From the moment we sat down Austin was the most attentive server! We had a special shrimp appetizer as well as the millionaire bacon. I read the reviews and they were right-don't miss the bacon!😋 For our main dishes I had the pan fried grouper over lobster risotto special which was everything I hoped for. We also had the tuna maki and the fresh pasta with meatballs and vodka sauce. We got a side of the roasted brussel sprouts for the table which were seasoned perfectly. For dessert we couldn't decide so we tried three: the special crepe cake, chocolate turtle torte, and crème brûlée! We couldn't have been happier with our evening out and wish we lived in the area so we could frequent Pompano Grill more often!
