Shoyu Hibachi Express & Poke Bowl

We found this place online as we are from out of town North Carolina and found the owner and the employees to be very pleasant and the food and wonderful!! I got Hibachi steak in the steak was the most tender beef I've had at just about any Japanese restaurant😉😲 my wife got Hibachi salmon without teriyaki sauce and really enjoyed it! It's a smaller restaurant in a strip mall but they go out of their way to please their customers ,thank you so much!❤️💯

My wife loved the Poke. Very fresh. 2 scoops was $12 which was great value. I had the steak hibachi and again very good. Not greasy. Just delicious. Bubble teas were also great. They were able to make them.less sweet and that was great. This place offers great food at a great price and the owner is a family guy. Support this business!

Delicious food, good portions, for a good price. We go here a lot, we get hibachi of course, with steak and shrimp. It's always great. We also love the yakisoba noodles and the tofu teriyaki bowl. The food also travels well, we always get carryout.

I went to Shoyu last Friday, and I can't recommend them enough. Even at work, working in hospitality, I recommend Shoyu to my guests. The food was made quickly, the quality was excellent, and they even have a table outside, so I was able to have my dog with me while we enjoyed lunch. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Bowl. It was excellent. The passion fruit tea with strawberry popping boba was excellent as well. I highly recommend Shoyu to everybody!

Decided to grab this the evening before our cruise. WOW!!!! This place was phenominal. Seasoning was on point, everything was cooked perfectly. I asked for mine to be spicy and they hit the nail on the head!!!!

We ordered 1 chicken plate & 1 chicken & steak for dinner last night , unfortunately we both woke up at 5 am with horrible stomach pains , my boyfriend has been throwing up nonstop since & I can’t stay out of the bathroom . It was the only thing we ate yesterday & we to need shortly after .

Really tasty teppanyaki and fresh poke. The steak hibachi was juicy and cooked a nice medium. Fried rice was flavorful and loved the sweet carrot side. Large portion that I could barely finish. The spicy poke flavors are particularly good. Service is very friendly.
