The chef, Ashley is MAGICAL. Excellent service. Superb restaurant staff who take great care of you
Had super night at The Snook w/ top server, Casey! We shared the Papusa & a citrus crab cake special for apps and then moved onto a fantastic filet while my wife had the shrimp w/ pumpkin grits. We finished w/ the key lime and everything was cooked to perfection while we enjoyed a great bottle of red I brought. Thanks for a terrific night!
Out of many non seafood options. Seems fat snook failed to re order entrees and also not post info of non seafood choices online
We brought friends for the first time and they loved it. Kevin was amazing! I appreciate the care about 2 different food allergies.
Nice vibe. Warm, friendly staff with great service. A varied menu with excellent quality made for a fun evening reunion. Will recommend and return.
Fresh as fresh can be fish and seafood, expertly prepared and presented. Creative and flavorful sides made with care and genuine love for food craft. Decadent desserts that are so incredible I have dreams about them.
Outstanding fresh delicious food with excellent service. Incredible crab soup and a great coffee to finish.

Great service. Food presentation is nice but lacks quality and flavor. We had the pupusas, the mushroom pasta appetizer, the corn bread, Thai steak salad, the halibut, and the cheesecake which was the only thing worth eating. The fish was dry, the steak tasted low quality. We paid about $200 including tip. The price is not worth it based on the low quality of this food.

What a great experience, the waiter was one of the best I ever experienced, described all the dishes with such enhancement! The food simply amazing, the creativity, the presentation, the taste of each dish was phenomenal. The chef deserves a round of applause.
Fantastic diner
The Fat Snook has been a staple in our dining experiences for years, and not once has it fallen short of excellence. Whether we've dined during quiet late afternoons, peak hours, or even enjoyed private dining at our home, each setting has been uniquely memorable. What truly sets this place apart is not only the exceptional quality and creativity of the food, but also the warm and genuine approach from the entire team.
The staff is remarkable at making you feel comfortable, no matter your dining style. Whether you're in the mood for casual conversation or prefer a more intimate setting, they effortlessly adapt to your vibe. Chef Ashley’s talent shines through in every dish, combining unexpected flavors that take you on a culinary journey - all while showcasing her beautifully gracious and approachable personality.
Behind the scenes, the kitchen team works magic, and it shows in every detail of your plate. We have fond memories of everything Fat Snook from the mouth watering tasting menus, refreshing spritzers and Tay Tay’s special cappuccinos to Jantzen’s incredible wine pairings that both heighten and compliment the flavor profiles. Meghan and Casey’s kindness, too, has left a lasting impression that we appreciate beyond words.
Sending all our love and gratitude to the entire Fat Snook family for always creating such a welcoming atmosphere where we feel right at home. We’ll see you again soon - maybe even tonight!

Celebrating my birthday with two dear friends. At 8pm we entered what looked like our family's dining room, warm, cozy, and inviting. On our table was a birthday card for me from the staff. Nice touch!! Our waiter Casey was amazing. There was really no need for the menu as he took his time and expertly defined the menu items in great detail and with perfection. The chef prepared a palate cleanse dish which was a delicious smoked fish dip with ginger. We ordered plenty. Started with a bottle of champagne, then cornbread, brussel sprouts, deviled eggs, oysters, her crab soup, creole shrimp and scallops, and shrimp and grits. No ordinary dishes. Each dish was a culinary orgasms, with explosions of unbelievable flavor. Outstanding presentation for each dish. An after dinner palate cleanse was served. The chef prepared a strawberry sorbet. It was full of flavor and refreshing. We had no room left for dessert. With all of the deliciousness we knew we had to take the key lime pie to go. It did not disappoint!
The Fat Snook is a hidden gem. Top notch service. Chief Ashley Clark so very talented and simply amazing. She came to our table and we presented her with a round of applause. My new favorite restaurant!!

I will not ever trust a negative review on this restaurant. It will never be possible for this place to fail at excellence.
Wife and I came to town as a stop on our anniversary adventure through Florida and we were told about this place from a family member who found it on google. Made a reservation and I am so glad we did. Even though Tori was an amazing waitress, everyone on staff there made sure we were taken care of. We had the wild crab feature, corn bread, and seared scallops (holy hell these were good) to start. I had creole shrimp and scallops and my wife had the fresh catch 2 which was triple tail. For dessert we couldn’t make up our minds so we had all three available. Key lime pie, chocolate mousse, and a lemon olive oil cake (please don’t let my limited description of the dishes fool you, all three were worth it).
Thank you to everyone for making our anniversary special. We will be back.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Hands down the best cornbread I've ever had in my life. No exaggeration.
Kid-friendliness: I brought my infant and 2 year old here with my husband on vacation. I sort of felt ridiculous as the food is top-notch, but they were super accommodating and the kids loved the food too!
