We passed The Skinny Mermaid/Vistea on our way home from KSC and decided to give it a try and we're so glad we did! Fresh salad bowls, delicious boba teas and friendly staff. Don't be put off by the rather unassuming looking exterior. We'd come here more often if we lived in the area!!

Stopped in for lunch after searching for healthy light food on our way from Vero Beach to Cape Canaveral. We ordered a Poke Bowl and a salad bowl with tuna, and Buba Tea and were delighted with our lunch. The bowls were full of fresh fruits and veges and super fresh raw tuna and flavorful poke dressing. The boba teas (one dalgona coffee and one coconut) were delicious. The exterior is a bit funky but don’t let that stop you. The owner and staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and the food is fresh and excellent, well worth the stop.

Trying new and local places this time around. Tried to go yesterday but they are closed on Tuesdays. They specialize in ‘bowls’. I had a Buddha bowl with shrimp and hubby had Ahi Tuna Poke bowl. They were good and tasty with water (they charge for water). Nothing fancy or fabulous. I’ve had better bowls all around this area. Prices of bowls are comparable to other places.

I had the original poke bowl... the fish was super fresh, the bowl was flavorful and very filling. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were in and out in no time! We will definitely be back!

A basic Buddha Bowl is loaded with healthy ingredients: edamame, corn, peas, carrots, cucumbers, garbanzo beans, alfalfa sprouts, mango, & black beans on a bed of quinoa. Protein add-ons are tofu, hummus, chicken, shrimp, or steak. We opted for "grilled tofu," and were very disappointed because it was tiny, soft tofu cubes - the same that's added to Chinese soups. We were expecting substantial sized pieces that had been GRILLED. It was not worth the $2.00 add-on. Skinny Mermaid offers a nice selection of tasty homemade sauces - our recommendations being Poke, Sesame Ginger, Korean BBQ, & Chipotle Honey. A small dish containing ONE sauce of your choice comes with a Buddha Bowl. If you want more, expect to be charged $1.00 for each little serving. Outdoor seating is available (as is indoor) and we observed good sanitizing procedures. Service provided by Chris & Emily was excellent.

Locally owned and operated providing fast, fresh and unique healthy foods with some great sweets thrown in. Sunday breakfast/brunch meal of Shrimp & Grits, French toast, individual quiche, chicken curry followed by locally baked cinnamon bun was wonderful and priced to make for an extremely good value. Since they opened into the space next door, they have plenty of inside and outside seating. Wonderful food, great value and personable owners and staff will keep this eatery in play for years to come. 100% recommended.

A little strip mall on A1A is an unlikely place for a restaurant, but this one is worth hunting down! Fresh food, friendly service, huge selection for Poke lovers and non-meat eaters alike. Plenty of inside and outside seating, too. And they just opened for breakfast as well, can't wait to go back!

Me and a friend came in because we wanted boba and this place had a good review so we went and checked it out. I got a boba tea drink that seemed good from the description and my friend got the same thing with an açaí bowl. Our drinks were literally just coconut milk and tea mixed together no other flavoring that the menu suggested and the bowl was so tiny definitely overpriced. The boba was also falling apart and was not good at all. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
